33. Predigt von Jesus… Falsche Propheten

Matthäus 7:15-23
“Sehet euch vor vor den falschen Propheten, die in Schafskleidern zu euch kommen, inwendig aber sind sie reißende Wölfe. An ihren Früchten sollt ihr sie erkennen. Kann man auch Trauben lesen von den Dornen oder Feigen von den Disteln? Also ein jeglicher guter Baum bringt gute Früchte; aber ein fauler Baum bringt arge Früchte. Ein guter Baum kann nicht arge Früchte bringen, und ein fauler Baum kann nicht gute Früchte bringen. Ein jeglicher Baum, der nicht gute Früchte bringt, wird abgehauen und ins Feuer geworfen. Darum, an ihren Früchten sollt ihr sie erkennen. Es werden nicht alle, die zu mir sagen: ,Herr, Herr!` in das Himmelreich kommen, sondern die den Willen tun meines Vaters im Himmel. Es werden viele zu mir sagen an jenem Tage: ,Herr, Herr, haben wir nicht in deinem Namen geweissagt?

Haben wir nicht in deinem Namen Teufel ausgetrieben? Haben wir nicht in deinem Namen viel Taten getan?` Dann werde ich ihnen bekennen: ,Ich habe euch noch nie erkannt; weichet alle von mir, ihr Übeltäter!”`

01. Dieses ganze Kapitel handelt von Lebensregeln, wie sie, auf Meine Lehre gegründet, zu beachten sind, damit die Menschen – und besonders in jener Zeit Meine Jünger und Zuhörer wußten, wie sie ihre eigenen Religionsgesetze im praktischen Leben ausüben sollten. Da besonders in jenen Zeiten die Auslegung der mosaischen Gesetze nicht nach Meinem Sinn war, deswegen mußte Ich selbst kommen, um den geistigen Lebensbaum der den Juden übergebenen Religion vor dem Verfaulen zu retten, damit er wieder Früchte trage, die den Gesetzen Meiner Geisterwelt entsprechen sollten.

02. So lehrte Ich in diesem Kapitel die Nachsicht mit den Fehlern anderer, sowie die Vorsicht, Meine Lehre nicht ohne Vorbereitung einem jeden an den Hals zu werfen, ferner die Mildtätigkeit und Liebe, welche die Menschen, Meinem Beispiel gemäß, gegen andere ausüben sollen. Ihr seht das Gesetz der Nächstenliebe im weitesten Sinne erklärt und werdet auch darauf aufmerksam gemacht, daß diese Meine Forderungen nicht so leicht sind, weil den Aufopferungen für Meine Liebesgesetze die Versuchungen der Welt und die leicht überhandnehmende Selbstliebe entgegenstehen.

03. Ich predigte nichts Neues, sondern erklärte nur Meinen Jüngern und Anhängern das schon Bekannte in seinem wahren Sinn, damit auch sie in der Folge den Mitmenschen den wahren Inhalt der Gebote mitteilen konnten. Ich mußte dabei zuerst den Lehrern und dann den Lernenden gewisse Maßregeln und Kennzeichen geben, woran die ersteren ihre wahren Wißbegierigen und Gläubigen, die letzteren aber ihre Lehrer erkennen und die falschen Lehrer oder Propheten von den echten, wahren unterscheiden konnten. Daher sind die Kennzeichen in Gleichnissen aufgezählt. In wenigen Sätzen ist gesagt, daß nicht Worte genügen, um andere zu überzeugen, sondern daß Taten als Beweise darlegen sollen, daß der Lehrende von der Wahrheit seiner Worte wirklich durchdrungen ist.

04. Dieser Maßstab, um falsche von echten Führern zu unterscheiden, soll dem Urteil der Zuhörer bei allen Gelegenheiten als Richtschnur dienen, weil sie sonst, durch Irrlehrer verführt, auf ganz falsche Wege geraten könnten.

05. Meine Zuhörer in jener Zeit machte Ich deshalb darauf aufmerksam, weil Ich im voraus wußte, daß nach Meinem Dahingang auch andere neben Meinen Jüngern auftreten würden, die unter dem Deckmantel Meiner Liebelehre nur ihren eigenen Vorteil suchen würden. Ich sagte ihnen auch im voraus, welches das Schicksal dieser falschen Lehrer, sowie auch derer, die auf solche Wahnlehren ihr geistiges Wohl bauen, sein werde, wenn geistige und physische Stürme ihr Lebensschiff in Gefahr bringen würden, in denen nur derjenige mit Ruhe der Zukunft – wie immer sie sich auch gestalten möge – entgegensehen kann, der Meine Lehre auch in der Tat ausübt. Ich verglich sie mit Menschen, von denen der eine sein Haus auf einen Fels, der andere auf Sand gebaut hatte.

06. Was Ich nun in jenen Zeiten Meinen Jüngern und Anhängern als Lebensregeln auf ihre dornenreiche Bahn mitgegeben habe, findet seine Anwendung in allen Zeiten, bis auf die heutigen und noch kommenden; denn Meine Worte sind ja Worte der
Ewigkeit und für die Ewigkeit. Sie können nie vergehen oder außer Gebrauch kommen, weil sie, ebenfalls auf den Felsen Meiner Wahrheit gebaut, den Tempel Meines Geisterhimmels ausmachen.

07. So wie dort gilt auch jetzt dieser Mahnruf. Er soll sowohl den Führern, als auch jenen zur Richtschnur dienen, die sich ihren Händen anvertraut haben und von ihnen in den bedrängten und noch bedrängteren kommenden Zeiten Trost und Hilfe verlangen.

08. Viel Mißbrauch ist schon mit Meiner Liebelehre getrieben worden, und viele sind den Irrlehren zum Opfer gefallen; aber jetzt ist die Axt an den Baum gelegt, der die Verirrten so lange beschattete und damit das eigentliche, göttliche Licht hinderte, bis zu ihnen zu dringen.

09. Bevor Ich komme, müssen alle Schatten in geistiger Hinsicht beseitigt werden; denn Ich bin das Licht und vertrage keinen Schatten. Meine Lehre ist gegeben, um alle Winkel der materiellen und geistigen Schöpfung zu erleuchten. Euer Scheinleben hat wohl Licht und Schattenseiten, wie eure Erde den Tag und die Nacht, – allein, es ist dies notwendig, weil ihr, sowie die ganze materielle Welt, neben der Tätigkeit auch Ruhe haben müßt, in der das Verausgabte ersetzt und der Organismus zur ferneren Tätigkeit gestärkt werden muß. Nicht aber so in der geistigen Welt! Da gibt es keine Nacht als nur die, welche die Geister sich selbst bereiten. Da ist ewiges Licht, ewige Wärme, ewige Liebe, ewige Tätigkeit.

10. Betrachtet nur eure Seele! Auch sie, obwohl an einen irdischen Körper gebunden, schläft nicht, sondern arbeitet Tag und Nacht an ihrem geistigen Leibe, um ihn möglichst vollkommen ins große Jenseits zu bringen.

11. Dasselbe Streben besitzt die ganze geistige Schöpfung, und was sich diesem entgegensetzen will, verfällt seinem Untergange, wie es euch die jetzige Zeit nur zu klar zeigt. Einrichtungen, so schlau und wohlberechnet sie auch angelegt und seit Jahrhunderten erhalten wurden und soviel Gutes sie anscheinend verbreiten sollten, sind doch nur auf Sand gebaute Häuser, die dem Platzregen und den Stürmen Meines göttlichen Wahrheitslichtes nicht widerstehen können.

12. Wie sich der Kalkstein bei der Berührung mit dem Lebens oder Sauerstoff eurer Atmosphäre in einen Brei auflöst, seine kompakte Form ändert und sich als feiner Staub, den Winden preisgegeben, in alle Regionen verliert, ohne die geringste Spur seines früheren Bestandes zurückzulassen – wenn er nicht, mit dem Sande vermischt, als Vermittler in einer andern Form zum Festen eines gebäudes beitragen muß -, so wird es auch den irdischen Einrichtungen ergehen. Weil sich aber ein solches schon lange bestehendes Gebäude und dessen Erhalter nicht so leicht dem Drange der Umstände ergeben, so rufe Ich euch allen zu: “Hütet euch vor den falschen Propheten, die in Schafskleidern zu euch kommen, aber innerlich reißende Wölfe sind!”

13. Ich weiß sehr wohl, daß von vielen diese Meine euch jetzt direkt gegebene Lehre im Anfang verhöhnt und verdächtigt werden wird und, wenn es auf diese Weise nicht gelingt, ihren Zweck zu erreichen, sie sich dann entschließen werden, diese Meine Lehre als Deckmantel zu gebrauchen, um ihre Existenz zu fristen; aber da gilt, was Ich einst zu Meinen Jüngern sagte: An ihren Taten werdet ihr erkennen, ob sie wirkliche, eifrige Ausüber Meiner Liebelehre oder nur Wortverkünder derselben sind!

14. Es ist nirgends so notwendig, auf seiner Hut zu sein, als gerade da, daß diese falschen Propheten und falschen Ausleger Meines Wortes sehen, daß ihnen alle ihre Anstrengungen mißlingen und sie sich entweder bekehren oder untergehen müssen. Denn sie werden alle Mittel anwenden, die zu ihrem früheren Glanz, zu ihrer früheren Macht führen sollen.

15. Daher gilt hier wieder Mein Mahnspruch: Seid listig wie die Schlangen und einfältig wie die Tauben, damit ihr die List eurer größten Widersacher von ferne wittert und durch die Einfältigkeit eures Herzens alle giftpfeile von euch und euren Mitgläubigen abwenden könnt. Sollten euch einige treffen, so führen sie euch zum Leben statt zum Verderben.

16. Wie hauptsächlich der Anfang dieses Kapitels euch Gläubigen und Verehrern Meines wahren Liebewortes gilt, indem es euch Geduld und Sanftmut rät, so ist auch der weitere Inhalt für euch geeignet, daß ihr eure Anhänger auf all die Gefahren aufmerksam machen sollt, die ihnen im Gewirre der Welt drohen, wo neben Wahrem das Falsche, neben echtem Sein sich der Schein breit machen, damit sie nicht, durch falsche Lehrer und Propheten irregeführt, euch des Trugs beschuldigen.

17. Seid daher auch vorsichtig wie die Schlangen, und glaubt nicht blindlings jedem, der sich euch nähert und um Himmelsbrot bittet oder wie es im Evangelium heißt – zu Mir ,Herr, Herr!` sagen wird! Sie haben ganz andere Absichten, als euch zu folgen; sie wollen nur durch euch erfahren, was ihrem Zwecke dienlich sein könnte.

18. Lest dieses Evangelium recht oft! Es liegt bei weitem mehr geistige, tiefe Wahrheit darin, als Ich euch hier geben kann. Beachtet das Gesagte, damit auch ihr euer Haus nicht auf Sand, sondern auf den festen Felsen des Vertrauens baut! Sonst geht es euch wie vielen, die beim geringsten geistigen oder moralischen Unwetter das Gleichgewicht verlieren und nicht wissen, wie ihnen zu raten und zu helfen ist.

19. Viele Worte und noch viel mehr Geistiges gebe Ich euch unter tausenderlei Formen. Jetzt empfangt ihr in diesen Sonntagspredigten gleichsam den Schlüssel zu Meinen Worten, die Ich einst Meinen Jüngern und ersten Nachfolgern gegeben habe.

20. Und wißt ihr, warum dies alles geschieht? Seht, weil Ich eben nur zu gut weiß, wie sich die Zeitverhältnisse fernerhin gestalten werden, in denen Stärke, Sicherheit und festes Aushalten immer notwendiger sein werden! Bei manchem wird erprobt werden, ob er sein geistiges Haus auf den Fels Meiner Glaubens und Liebelehre gebaut oder ob er sich nur mit dem Lesen und Anhören Meiner Worte begnügt hat, was dem Hause auf dem Sande gleichkommt. So wie der Wind den Sand hinwegweht oder der Regen ihn wegschwemmt, ebenso verwischt die Zeit die gehörten oder gelesenen Worte aus dem Gedächtnis.

21. Die festen Bausteine zu Meinem und zu eurem künftigen, geistigen Wohnhause sind Taten, – Taten, ausgeführt auf Grund der Gottes- und Nächstenliebe. Nur diese sind bleibend, geben euch Ruhe und Frieden und leuchten als schöne Beispiele für andere, welche euch an euren guten Werken als echte und nicht als falsche Propheten und Lehrer erkennen werden, deren Herz nicht das der reißenden Wölfe, sondern das der gutmütigen Lämmer ist und nicht Haß, Zorn, Neid, Eifersucht oder Rache, sondern nur Liebe atmet, Liebe verbreitet und wieder Liebe ernten will.

22. So sollt ihr Meine Auserwählten werden, die mit Meinen Worten in der Hand alle Schatten und Zweifel verscheuchen und das Licht einer großen, über euch hoch erhabenen Geisterwelt verbreiten sollen, damit bei Meiner Wiederkunft nur ein Hirt und eine Herde sei und euer Wohnort, der Erdball, wieder zu dem Paradies umgestaltet werde, welches er einst gewesen ist, und welches nicht durch Mich, sondern einst durch die aus Liebe geschaffenen Menschen verlorengegangen ist.

23. Dies merkt euch, und befolgt es soviel und sooft wie möglich! Nur so blüht euch Ruhe und Frieden, und nur so seid ihr fähig, auch andern Trost zu geben. Amen.

33rd Sermon of Jesus… About False Prophets

(April 10, 1872)

Matthew 7:15-23
“Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work inquity.”

All of this chapter deals with precepts based on My teaching that have to be observed so that people – and, especially at that time, My disciples and listeners – would know how to practise their own religious laws in practical life. As particularly in those times the interpretation of the Mosaic laws was not what I had in mind, I had to come Myself in order to save from rotting the spiritual tree of life of the religion given to the Jews, so that it could again bear fruit corresponding to the laws of My spirit-world.

So I taught, in this chapter, indulgence with the mistakes of others, the circumspection not to force my teaching on everybody without having prepared them, and also the practice of charity and love towards one’s fellowmen, following My example. You find the law of love of your neighbour explained in detail and your attention is drawn to the fact that these My demands are not so easy to fulfil because the sacrifices required by My commandments of love are countered by the temptations of the world and by self-love which easily gets the upper hand.

I did not preach anything new; I only explained to My disciples and adherents what was already familiar to them, but in its true sense, so that they would be able in future to tell their fellowmen about the true meaning of the commandments. In this connection I had to mention certain precautions and signs which would enable the teachers to recognize the true truth seekers and believers and help the latter to know their teachers and distinguish the false teachers or prophets from the genuine and true ones. Therefore, the signs are named in the parables, and it is pointed out in a few sentences that words are not enough to convince others, but deeds must prove that the teacher is absolutely convinced of the truth of his words.

This standard in distinguishing false from genuine leaders shall at all times serve the listeners as a guideline, otherwise they could be led astray by false teachers and get onto the wrong path.

In those times, I pointed this out to My listeners because I knew beforehand that after I had gone there would appear, in addition to My disciples, also others who would be seeking their own advantage under the pretence of My teaching of love. I also predicted the fate of these false teachers – and of those who would build their spiritual welfare upon such false doctrines – once spiritual and physical storms endangered their ship of life when only he who also practises My teaching will be able to face the future – whatever it may turn out to be – with equanimity. I compared them with people of whom one had built his house on rock, the other on sand.

That which I in those times gave My disciples and adherents as precepts for their thorny path, applies for all times, – today and also in the future. For My words are indeed words of eternity and for eternity. They can never cease to exist or go out of use because they, too, are built on the rock of My truth and are the temple of My heaven of the spirits.

As it did then, this warning call applies also today. It is to serve the leaders as a guiding principle and also those who have entrusted themselves to their guidance and will rely on them for comfort and help when they are in difficulties and in the worse times of distress that are still to come.

My teaching of love has already been greatly misused and many have fallen victim to false doctrines. However, the axe is ready to cut down the tree that for so long overshadowed the straying, thereby preventing the true, divine light from penetrating to them.

Prior to My coming all the shadows in a spiritual respect must be removed, for I am the light and tolerate no shadow. My teaching has been given to illuminate all the corners of material and spiritual creation. Your material life has bright and dark sides, just as your earth has day and night. However, this is necessary as you, like all the material world, must also have rest when your spent strength must be restored and your organism strengthened for further activity. But this is different in the spiritual world where there is no night, except the one spirits prepare for themselves, but only eternal light, eternal warmth, eternal love, eternal activity.

Look at your soul! This, too, although bound to a material body, never sleeps, but is working day and night on its spiritual body which it wants to take into the great beyond in as perfect a state as possible.

All spiritual creation has the same aspiration, and whatever tries to oppose it must perish, as this present time shows you only too clearly. Institutions, most cleverly planned and preserved for centuries, although they seem to do a lot of good, are still only houses built on sand that cannot resist the cloudbursts and storm of My divine light of truth.

Just as the limestone dissolves into a pulp when touched by the life substance or oxygen of your earth’s atmosphere, changes its compact form and, exposed to the winds, disperses as fine dust without leaving any trace of its former firmness – unless it has to contribute in another form as an agent for the firming of a building when mixed with sand -this will also happen to the earthly institutions. But since an institution of such long duration and its supporters will not easily give in to the pressure of circumstances, so I call to all of you: “Beware of false prophets who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves!”

I am quite aware that many will initially deride and suspect My teaching which I have now given to you directly, and if in this way they do not succeed in achieving their end, they will decide to use this My teaching as a pretence to prolong their existence. However, here applies what I once said to My disciples: “You will know by their works whether they are zealous practicers of My teaching of love or only preachers of the Word!”

It is so particularly important to be on one’s guard and let these false prophets and false interpreters of My Word see that all their efforts fail and they must either mend their ways or perish. For they will use all means that could lead them back to their former distinction and their former power. Therefore, I have to warn you again: Be as wise as serpents and as harmless as doves so that you may sense the cunning of your greatest opponents even from a distance and be able to divert all poisonous arrows from yourselves and your fellow-believers through the simplicity of your hearts. Should any of them strike you they would lead you to life instead of perdition.

As mainly the beginning of this chapter concerns you, the believers and reverers of My true word of love, advising you to practise patience and meekness, thus also the further contents are of benefit to you, urging you to draw the attention of your followers to the dangers threatening them in the confusion of the world, where falsehood ist boasting next to truth and pretence next to the true nature of things, so that they may not, led astray by false teachers and prophets, blame you with deception.

Therefore, be as cautious as serpents and do not blindly believe everyone who approaches you asking you for bread from the heavens or – as it says in the Gospel – saying “Lord, Lord” to Me! They do not at all intend to follow you but just want to find out through you what could serve their own purpose.

Read this Gospel often! It contains by far more deep spiritual truth than I can explain to you here. Do heed what you have been told that you, may build your house not on sand, but on the solid rock of trust. Otherwise you may fare as many do who, with the slightest spiritual or moral storm, lose their equlibrium and are perplexed and helpless.

I give you many messages and even more spiritual values in a thousand different ways. Now you are receiving in these Sunday sermons, so to speak, the key to My teachings which I once gave to My disciples and first followers.

Do you know why all this is happening? It is because I know only too well what a turn things will be taking and that strength, certainty and firm perseverance will become more and more necessary. Many a person will be tested, whether he has built his spiritual house on the rock of My teaching of faith and love, or whether he has contented himself with only reading and listening to My Word, which would correspond to the house built on sand. Just as the wind blows away the sand or the rain washes it away, time effaces from memory the words that were read or heard.

The solid building stones for My and your future spiritual dwelling are works – works performed on account of the love of God and your neighbour. They alone are lasting, give you calmness and peace, and shine as good examples for others who, from your good works, will recognize you as genuine and not as false prophets and teachers whose heart is not like that of a ravening wolf, but like that of a good-natured lamb and does not give forth hatred, anger, envy, jealousy or vengeful- ness, but only love, is spreading love and wants to reap also love.

Thus you are to become My chosen, who with My Word in their hands, will drive out all shadows and doubts and spread the light of a vast world of spirit ranking high above you, so that at the time of My Second Coming there shall be only one shepherd and one flock and your earth will be made once more into the paradise that once existed and was lost, not through Me, but through the human beings once created out of love.

Do remember these words and heed them as much and as often as possible! Only thus can you gain equanimity and peace and be able to give comfort also to others. Amen.

Predica n. 33 – Dei falsi profeti

Matteo 7, 15-23: «“Guardatevi dai falsi profeti che vengono a voi in veste di pecore, ma dentro sono lupi rapaci. Dai loro frutti li dovete riconoscere. Si può raccogliere uva dai rovi, o fichi dai cardi? Quindi ogni albero buono porta frutti buoni; ma un albero marcio porta frutti cattivi. Un albero buono non può portare frutti cattivi, e un albero marcio non può portare frutti buoni. Ogni albero, che non produce frutti buoni, viene tagliato e gettato nel fuoco. Perciò, dai loro frutti dovete riconoscerli. Non chiunque Mi dirà: ‘Signore, Signore!’, entrerà nel regno dei Cieli, ma colui che fa la volontà del Padre Mio nel Cielo. Molti Mi diranno in quel giorno: ‘Signore, Signore, non abbiamo noi profetizzato nel Tuo Nome? Non abbiamo cacciato demoni nel Tuo Nome? Non abbiamo compiuto molte azioni nel Tuo Nome?’. Allora dichiarerò loro: ‘Io non vi ho mai conosciuto; allontanatevi da Me, voi malfattori’.»

1. Quest’intero capitolo tratta delle regole di vita fondate sulla Mia dottrina, su come devono essere osservate, affinché gli uomini – e specialmente in quel tempo i Miei discepoli e ascoltatori – le osservino, e sappiano come esercitare nella vita pratica le leggi della religione. Poiché specialmente in quei tempi l’interpretazione delle leggi mosaiche non era secondo il Mio senso, per questa ragione Io stesso dovetti venire per salvare dalla putrefazione l’albero della vita spirituale della religione affidata ai giudei, e far sì che esso portasse nuovamente frutti, corrispondenti alle leggi del Mio mondo dello spirito.

2. Quindi in questo capitolo Io insegnai l’indulgenza verso gli errori degli altri, così come la prudenza nel gettare al collo di chiunque, la Mia Dottrina senza preparazione; insegnai inoltre la carità e l’amore che gli uomini devono praticare gli uni verso gli altri, conformemente al Mio esempio. Qui vedete la legge dell’amore per il prossimo, spiegata nel senso più ampio, e viene anche fatto presente che queste Mie richieste non sono così facili, perché allo spirito di sacrificio per le Mie leggi d’Amore si oppongono le tentazioni del mondo e il facile crescente amor proprio.

3. Io non predicai nulla di nuovo, bensì spiegai ai Miei discepoli e seguaci, solo il già conosciuto nel suo vero significato, affinché anch’essi potessero in seguito comunicare al prossimo la verità contenuta nei comandamenti. Io dovetti oltre a ciò, dare dapprima ai maestri e poi agli allievi certe disposizioni, e segni di riconoscimento affinché i primi potessero individuare i loro veri credenti desiderosi di sapere, e gli ultimi, distinguere i loro veri, autentici maestri, dai falsi maestri o profeti. Perciò i segni di riconoscimento sono puntualizzati in parabole. In poche frasi è detto che non bastano le parole per convincere gli altri, bensì che le azioni dovevano manifestare e comprovare come il maestro sia compenetrato veramente dalla verità delle sue parole.

4. Questo metro per distinguere le false dalle vere guide, deve servire come direttiva nel giudizio degli ascoltatori in ogni occasione, altrimenti, sedotti da maestri eretici, essi potrebbero incappare su strade totalmente sbagliate.

5. Perciò in quel tempo Io portai l’attenzione dei Miei ascoltatori su questo, sapendo già in precedenza che dopo la Mia dipartita, oltre ai Miei discepoli, altri sarebbero apparsi sotto il manto della Mia dottrina d’Amore, i quali avrebbero cercato solo i propri vantaggi. Io dissi loro in anticipo quale sarebbe stato il destino di questi falsi maestri, così come, anche di quelli che avrebbero costruito il proprio bene spirituale su tali illusori insegnamenti, quando tempeste spirituali e fisiche avrebbero messo a repentaglio la loro nave della vita; mentre, solo chi pratica nei fatti la Mia Dottrina può attendere con tranquillità il futuro, in qualunque maniera esso possa prender forma. Io paragonai costoro con due uomini, di cui uno aveva costruito la propria casa sulla roccia, l’altro, sulla sabbia.

6. Ciò che Io ho impartito in quei tempi ai Miei discepoli e seguaci come regole di vita sul loro spinoso cammino, trova la sua applicazione in tutti i tempi, fino a quelli odierni e a quelli ancora venienti. Le Mie parole, infatti, sono parole dell’eternità e per l’eternità, e non possono mai passare, oppure cadere in disuso, poiché anch’esse, costruite sulla roccia della Mia Verità, formano il tempio del Mio Cielo spirituale.

7. Come allora, anche oggi vale questo grido ammonitore. Esso deve servire come regola, tanto alle guide, quanto anche a quelli che si affidano alle loro mani, e pretendono da loro conforto e aiuto nei tempi difficili, e in quelli venienti, ancora più difficili.

8. È già stato fatto molto abuso della Mia dottrina d’Amore, e molti sono caduti vittime di dottrine errate; ora, però, è messa la scure all’albero, il quale così a lungo ha ombreggiato gli smarriti e, con ciò, ha impedito alla vera e propria Luce divina di penetrare fino a loro.

9. Prima che Io venga, dovranno essere rimosse tutte le ombre, in senso spirituale; Io sono, infatti, la Luce, e non tollero nessun’ombra. La Mia Dottrina è data per illuminare tutti gli angoli della Creazione materiale e spirituale. La vostra vita apparente ha, sì, lati di luce e ombra – come la vostra Terra il giorno e la notte – ma ciò è necessario, perché voi, così come l’intero mondo materiale, oltre all’attività dovete avere anche il riposo, in cui sostituire il consumato e fortificare l’organismo per l’ulteriore attività. Non è così però nel mondo spirituale! Là non esiste notte, all’infuori di quella che gli spiriti si procurano da se stessi. Là vi è eterna Luce, eterno Calore, eterno Amore, eterna Attività!

10. Considerate solamente la vostra anima! Anch’essa, sebbene legata a un corpo terreno, non dorme, bensì lavora giorno e notte nel suo corpo spirituale, per portarlo il più possibile perfetto nel grande aldilà.

11. L’intera Creazione spirituale possiede la medesima tendenza, e ciò che vuole opporsi a questa, subisce il proprio decadimento, come ve lo dimostra fin troppo chiaramente il tempo attuale. Certe istituzioni, fondate e mantenute da secoli con tutta l’astuzia, per quanto ben costruite e dalle apparenze benefiche, sono tuttavia unicamente case edificate solo sulla sabbia, le quali non possono resistere agli acquazzoni e alle tempeste della Mia divina Luce di Verità.

12. Come la pietra calcarea a contatto con la sostanza vitale oppure con l’ossigeno della vostra atmosfera si scioglie in poltiglia, trasforma la propria forma compatta e, come fine polvere lasciata in balia del vento si disperde in tutte le regioni senza lasciare la minima traccia della sua precedente consistenza – sempre che essa, mescolata con la sabbia, non debba contribuire come intermediaria in un’altra forma alla stabilità di un edificio – così accadrà anche alle istituzioni terrene. E poiché un tal edificio esiste già da lungo tempo, e i suoi conservatori non si arrendono così facilmente alla stretta delle circostanze, allora Io faccio appello a tutti voi: “Guardatevi dai falsi profeti che vengono a voi in veste di pecora, ma all’interno sono lupi rapaci!”.

13. Io so molto bene che questa Mia Dottrina, datavi ora direttamente, all’inizio sarà schernita e sospettata, e che, se essi non riusciranno a raggiungere il loro scopo, si decideranno allora a utilizzarla come copertura per salvare la propria esistenza; però vale ciò che Io dissi un giorno ai Miei discepoli: «Nelle loro azioni riconoscerete se essi sono veri, zelanti praticanti della Mia dottrina d’Amore, oppure solo banditori di parole della stessa!».

14. In nessuna circostanza sarà così necessario stare all’erta, come proprio nel momento in cui questi falsi profeti e falsi interpreti della Mia parola, vedranno che tutti i loro sforzi falliscono, e dovranno convertirsi, o perire. Essi, infatti, ricorreranno a tutti i mezzi, pur di ritornare al loro precedente splendore e alla loro precedente potenza.

15. Perciò qui vale di nuovo la Mia massima ammonitrice: siate astuti come serpenti e semplici come colombe, affinché possiate fiutare da lontano l’astuzia dei vostri più grandi avversari e, mediante la semplicità del vostro cuore, allontanare da voi e dai vostri compagni di fede tutte le frecce avvelenate. Se alcune dovessero colpirvi, non vi condurranno alla vita, ma alla perdizione.

16. Come l’inizio di questo capitolo[1] è rivolto principalmente a voi, credenti e adoratori della Mia vera parola d’Amore, per consigliarvi con pazienza e dolcezza d’animo, così anche il contenuto successivo[2] è fatto per rendere attenti i vostri seguaci su tutti i pericoli che li minacciano nella confusione del mondo, dove, accanto al vero si fa largo il falso, accanto alla pura essenza, l’apparenza, affinché essi, traviati da falsi maestri e profeti, non incolpino voi d’inganno.

17. Siate perciò anche prudenti come i serpenti, e non credete ciecamente a chiunque si avvicini a voi e chieda il pane dei Cieli, oppure – com’è scritto nel Vangelo – dica a Me «Signore! Signore!». Essi hanno ben altre intenzioni che seguirvi, essi vogliono solo sapere attraverso di voi, cosa potrebbe essere utile al loro scopo.

18. Leggete spesso correttamente questo Vangelo! Vi si trova molta più spirituale, profonda Verità di quella che Io vi possa dare qui, e fate attenzione a quanto detto, affinché anche voi non costruiate la vostra casa sulla sabbia, bensì sulla salda roccia della fiducia! Altrimenti vi accadrà come a molti che perdono l’equilibrio al minimo temporale spirituale o morale, e non sanno come si può aiutarli e consigliarli.

19. Molte parole e ancor molto dello spirituale Io vi do sotto migliaia di forme, e ora voi, in queste prediche domenicali, ricevete quasi, Io direi, la chiave per comprendere le Mie parole che un giorno diedi ai Miei discepoli e primi seguaci.

20. E sapete voi perché accade tutto questo? Vedete, proprio perché Io so fin troppo bene come le situazioni del tempo si disporranno in futuro, quando forza, sicurezza e salda perseveranza saranno sempre più necessarie! Qualcuno sarà messo alla prova per verificare se la sua casa spirituale sia costruita sulla roccia della Mia dottrina di fede e d’Amore, oppure se egli si sia solamente accontentato di leggere e ascoltare le Mie parole, ciò che equivale alla casa costruita sulla sabbia. Così come il vento soffia via la sabbia, o la pioggia la spazza via, ugualmente il tempo cancella dalla memoria le parole ascoltate o lette.

21. Le solide pietre da costruzione per la Mia e per la vostra futura, spirituale abitazione, sono le azioni; azioni compiute in base all’amore per Dio e per il prossimo. Solo queste sono permanenti, vi daranno quiete e pace, e risplenderanno come stupendi esempi per gli altri che in tali buone opere vi riconosceranno come autentici, e non come falsi profeti e maestri, il cui cuore non è quello dei lupi rapaci, ma quello di mansueti agnelli che diffondono non odio, collera, invidia, gelosia o vendetta, bensì solamente amore, per raccogliere ancora e ancora amore.

22. Così voi diverrete Miei prescelti e, con le Mie parole nella mano, scaccerete tutte le ombre e i dubbi, e diffonderete la luce di un grande mondo spirituale, altamente elevato oltre di voi, affinché al Mio Ritorno vi siano un solo Pastore e un unico gregge, e la vostra dimora, il globo terrestre, sia di nuovo trasformata nel paradiso che è stato un giorno, e che è andato perduto non a causa Mia, bensì degli uomini creati per Amore.

23. Ricordatevi questo, e a questo attenetevi il più spesso possibile! Solo così prospereranno in voi quiete e pace, e solo così sarete capaci di dare conforto agli altri. – Amen!

主啊，主啊，不是每一個對我說的人都進入天國;但那遵行我天父旨意的人，主啊，主啊，我當時有許多人會對我說，我們沒有用你的名義預言過嗎？並以你的名義趕走魔鬼？並以你的名義做了許多奇妙的作品？然後我會向他們表白，我從來不認識你;離開我，你們這些作恶。“
