Himmelsgaben 1-004 – 23. April 1840

1. Gib dem Weibe des Ans. H. folgende Worte! Denn Ich habe ihre Sehnsucht erkannt und will ihr daher einen kleinen Trost geben, den sie ja beachten soll für sich und für ihre Kindlein, Mägdlein und Knaben.

2. Ich habe Freude an jedem, der Freude hat an Mir. Und Ich habe des Wassers in grosser Menge, zu geben denen, die danach dürsten. Und Meine Gnade ist ebenso breit als lang, und ist nirgends anzutreffen ein schmalerer Teil.

3. Darum verteile du, Mutter des Fleisches, deine Liebe unter die Deinen, wie Ich die Gnade – damit keines Deiner Kinder ein scheeles Auge bekomme aus heimlichem Neide und nicht gut schauen möchte dereinst auf seinen Bruder oder seine Schwester! Habe ein volles und gleiches Mass der Liebe gegen jedes deiner Kinder – damit Ich ihnen dann auch ein volles und gleiches Mass der Gnade schenken kann! Sonst aber sollen die mehr Geliebten weniger Gnade und die weniger Geliebten mehr Gnade von Mir empfangen.

4. Denn siehe, Ich bin ein Vater der Verfolgten, ein Tröster der Betrübten – aber auch ein sehr strenger Richter der von euch zuviel geliebten Kinder. Denn das Übermass eurer Liebe verdirbt eure Kinder und macht sie unfähig zum Empfange Meiner Gnade. – Daher lasse du künftig allen gleich angedeihen, was ihnen nützlich ist, not- und wohltut, und bezwinge dein Herz – und Meine Gnade wird dich in ihre Mitte nehmen!

5. Und glaube, dass Ich es bin, der dir das sagt, als euer guter Vater. – Was du matt siehst, das sehe Ich scharf. Wohin du aber mit aller Schärfe blickst, da schaue Ich durch die Finger. Was die Welt richtet, das nehme Ich auf; was aber die Welt erhöht, das wird nieder zu stehen kommen vor Mir. – Siehe die Ehebrecherin, gerichtet von der Welt! Ihre Schuld habe Ich in den Sand geschrieben, damit sie der Wind möge verwehen. – So sollt es auch ihr alle tun, wollt ihr Meine rechten Kinder sein, die Ich mehr liebe, als du es je wirst fassen können.

6. So wie die Sonne scheint und wie der Regen fällt auf alles Gras, so sei eure Liebe gegen eure Kinder! – Gegen die fremden aber sei sie wie ein Feuerbrand und wie ein Wolkenbruch, damit keine Eigenliebe in euch und in euren Kindern herrsche – wodurch dann euer Vertrauen stark werde und Ich euch allezeit helfen kann und werde, da wo ihr am schwächsten seid.

7. Das sei dir ein kleiner Trost! – Wo Ich hinein will, da fege Ich zuerst! – Das sagt euer guter, heiliger Vater. – Amen.

Über Kindererziehung
Himmelsgaben 1-018 – 8. Juni 1840

O Herr, wie sollen die Kinder erzogen werden, damit sie fähig werden möchten, dereinst Deine Kinder zu heißen?

1. Nun, so schreibe! – Es ist das eine gut und recht gestellte Frage, worauf Ich euch eine vollbestimmte Antwort geben will. Aber sehet zu, so Ich euch ein rechtes Licht hierin gebe, daß ihr getreue Hirten werdet eurer kleinen Herde, die euch gegeben wurde aus der Tiefe, damit ihr sie bringet zur Höhe aller Demut und dadurch auf den Weg alles Lebens durch das leuchtende Feuer Meiner Liebe. Aber es wird euch viel Mühe machen, und diese Mühe soll sühnen eure Fleischeslust, die ihr mit euren Weibern vielfach getrieben habt, wodurch euren Kindern erteilt wurde das Kleid der Hure und ein Denkmal im zerstörten Jerusalem und ein weites und tiefes Grab unter dem Schutte Babels.

2. Denn sehet, wäret ihr wiedergeboren gewesen aus dem Geiste Meiner Liebe, dann hättet ihr die Jungfrau, die ihr zum Weibe begehrt habt, zuvor reinigen können in den Strömen des lebendigen Wassers, das da in unendlicher Fülle entströmt wäre eurem Wesen. Und so wäre dann eure Ehe eine himmlische gewesen, und eure Kinder (gezeuget in der Lust der Engel, welche ist eine wahre Einung der Liebe mit der Weisheit), wären dann Kinder aus den Himmeln und wären schon zur Hälfte wiedergeboren, darin der Geistessame bald gedeien würde zur Frucht in der neuen Erde, die da ist gelegt in den großen Gärten des neuen Jerusalems. Und die Erziehung wäre euch zur großen Freude geworden im Angesichte eures heiligen Vaters.

3. Da ihr nun aber eure Ehe geschlossen habt in der Finsternis der Welt, zu verrichten die Werke des Todes und zu zeugen Früchte der Hölle, das da sind eure lieben, verzärtelten Kinder – so ist es auch schwer, der Brut der Schlangen das Gift zu nehmen. Und es kann dies nicht anders geschehen, als durch die gänzliche Abtötung des Fleisches und volle Gefangennehmung des Willens, weil der Eigenwille solcher Kinder ein rein höllischer oder satanischer ist, da auch nicht ein Funke ist, der da wäre ein himmlischer.

4. So ihr aber meint, Ich sage hier zuviel, da entgegne Ich: Prüfet eure Brut, und ihr werdet nichts finden als: Eigenliebe, Neid, Zorn, Trägheit, Unlust gegen alles Ernste und einen heimlichen, entschiedenen Widerwillen gegen alles Göttliche, weshalb sie nur durch Strafen oder (welt-)sinnliche Belohnungen können bewegt werden, irgend einige magere Sätze aus den harten Katechismen zu erlernen.

5. Und nun denn, so ihr solches bei euren Kindern gefunden habt, dann saget und bekennet offen, daß Ich euch das nun nur aus Meiner übergroßen Liebe des Heils eurer Kinder und eurer selbst wegen sage, daß eure Kinder wahre Kinder der Hölle sind!

6. Wollet ihr nun aus eurer Brut neu zeugen Kinder der Liebe, so müsset ihr blind sein gegen eine niedliche und geschmeidige Fratze und taub gegen jeden ihrer törichten Wünsche und müsset schon frühzeitig gefangennehmen jeden Funken ihres bösen Eigenwillens, damit da Raum werde für Meine Liebe und für einen neuen Willen daraus.

7. Alles, was die Kinder starrsinnig begehren, müsset ihr ihnen versagen, und wäre es auch Gutes, damit nicht der ihre, sondern euer Wille lebendig werde durch die Ergebung und den gerechten und heilsamen Gehorsam in ihren Herzen.

8. Strafet allezeit den Eigensinn und den Unwillen, die Trägheit, die Unlust zum Göttlichen, vorzüglich aber eine sich heimlich im Herzen aufhaltende Geringachtung heilsamer Ermahnungen sowie Meines Namens und alles darauf Bezug Habenden.

9. Beim Rechttun belobet nicht und noch weniger belohnet die Kinder! Saget ihnen freundlich ernst, daß sie ein Werk des neuen Willens ausgeführt haben, worüber der Vater im Himmel schon eine kleine Freude habe. Und hat ein Kind aus eigenem Antriebe in einer pflichtfreien Zeit als Erholung des Leibes etwas getan, das da scheine, als wäre es etwas Gutes, dann fraget es ja haarklein aus, was es dazu bewogen habe. Und habt ihr es bis auf den Grund erfahren, ob es aus Eigenliebe, oder aus Liebe zur Pflicht, oder aus Liebe zu euch, oder aus Liebe zu Mir geschehen ist, so richtet danach allezeit euer Miß- oder Wohlgefallen.

10. Aber mit euren Liebkosungen seid sparsam wie der Winter mit den warmen Tagen, damit die Fruchttriebe nicht zerstört werden in einer folgenden Versuchung, gleich den Blüten des Frühlings durch einen späteren Reif. Jedoch lasset häufig kalte Winde wehen, damit die Pestluft um die jungen Herzen zur Wohlfahrt des Geistes gereinigt werde.

11. Die Knaben lehret blindlings gehorchen und lasset sie die Ursache des Gebotes in Meiner Liebe erkennen. Und bestrafet deren Neugierde und zu große (zuchtlose) Spielsucht und weiset sie strenge zur Ruhe.

12. Die Mädchen aber haltet daheim und lasset ja nicht auch nur die allerleiseste unziemliche Begierde in ihnen wach werden, sei es in was immer. Und willfahret ja nie auch nur im allergeringsten irgendeinem Wunsche, bevor euch nicht klar geworden die geheimste Quelle desselben.

13. Hütet sie sorgfältigst vor Zusammenkünften mit fremden Kindern, die eine Welterziehung genießen, sonst habt ihr selbst schwere Hagelwolken zusammengezogen. Und da wird nicht eine Ähre des Weizens verschont bleiben.

14. Mit dem Alter gehe auch eure gerechte Strenge siebenfachen Schrittes vor.

15. Höret eure Kinder lieber weinen in der Kränkung ihrer verderblichen Eitelkeit als frohlocken in ihren allezeit hochmütigen Weltfreuden, damit ihr gleich werdet den Engeln im Himmel, die große Freude haben an den reuig Weinenden der Welt.

16. Ein zorniges Mädchen soll fasten siebenmal so lange, als ihr Zorn gedauert hat, damit sie sanft werde wie eine Taube.

17. Eure Liebe sei ihnen verborgen, wie Ich euren Augen, damit die neue, zarte Frucht nicht ersticke in der Hitze eines unzeitigen Feuers. Und in dem Maße wie die Frucht sich zeiget, die aus den neuen Samen des Himmels sproßt, und fester und fester wird, und wie sicht- und sichtbarer wird in ihren Herzen die wahre, reine Liebe zu Mir und daraus ein werktätiger Glaube, so auch öffne sich euer Herz in verständiger Liebe zu den geistig neugeborenen Kindern.

18. Sehet, das ist der Weg des Lebens für eure Kinder! Und das ist der einzige, und außer diesem gibt es keinen, wie es außer Mir keinen Gott mehr gibt. Wer ihn wandeln will, der wird Segen finden und erkennen, daß er aus Mir ist. – Wer aber tun wird nach dem Buche der Welt, der wird auch da seinen Lohn sicher finden bei dem Fürsten der Welt im Pfuhle der Ewigkeit. – Amen. Ich, Gott, der Allerheiligste, und Jesus, als Vater. – Amen.

Jesus explains… Proper parental Love & Raising of Children
Heavenly Gifts 1-004 April 23rd 1840

1. Give the following words to the wife of Ans. H., for I have recognized her yearning and I wish to give her a small consolation, which she shall heed for herself, as well as for her children, both girls and boys.

2. I delight in every one who is delighted in Me, and I have much water to give to those who thirst for it. And My grace is as wide as it is long, and nowhere may a narrow section be found.

3. Therefore, mother of the flesh, distribute your love amongst your people, like I do with My grace – so that none of your children develop a suspicious eye out of a secret jealousy, and therefore would not look kindly upon their brother or sister! Have a full and balanced measure of love for all your children – so that I may be able to grant them an equally full and balanced measure of grace! Otherwise, those, who are more loved shall receive less grace, whereas the less loved ones shall receive more grace from Me.

4. See, I am a Father of the persecuted, a comforter of the distressed – but I am also a very strict judge for those of your children you loved too much, for the excess of your love ruins your children, and it will make them incapable of receiving My grace. – Therefore, give each one equally, what is useful to them, what they need and what is beneficial to their welfare, and subdue your heart – for then, My grace will take you into its midst!

5. Believe Me that it is I who tells you this, as your good Father. – What you see faintly, I see clearly. Where you look with all acuity, there I look through the finger. What the world judges, I take up; but whatever the world exalts, that shall be abased before Me. – Look at the adulteress, judged by the world! Her fault I have written into the sand, so that the wind may blow it away. – All of you shall do so as well, if you want to be my rightful children, whom I love much more than you could ever imagine.

6. Like the sun shines and the rain falls on all the grass, so shall your love be towards your children, but for the strangers it shall be like a conflagration or a downpour, so that no self-love may have dominion over you and your children – out of which your trust shall become stronger, so that I may always be able to help you, wherever you are weakest.

7. Let this be a little comfort to you! – Wherever I wish to enter, I first sweep! – This says your good and holy Father. – Amen.

Concerning the Raising of Children
Heavenly Gifts 1-018 – June 8th 1840

Oh Lord, how must the children be raised, so that, one day, they may be called Your children?

1. Now, start writing! – It is a good and rightfully asked question, for which I want to give you a definite answer, but when I give you a proper light, make sure that you become faithful shepherds for your little flock, which was given to you from the depths, so you may bring them to the height of humility, and by doing so, leading them onto the path of all life, by the bright fire of My love. But it will cost you much effort, and this effort shall atone for your carnal lust you were engaged in with your wives on many occasions, whereby the dress of the whore was given to your children, as well as a memorial in the destroyed Jerusalem, and a wide, deep grave below the debris of Babylon.

2. For behold, if you had been reborn out of the spirit of My love, then you could have cleansed the virgin, which you desired to become your wife, first in the streams of the living water, which would have flowed from your being with infinite abundance. In this way, your marriage would have been a heavenly marriage, and your children (conceived in the lust of the angels, which is a true union between love and wisdom) would then have been from the heavens and already reborn halfway, wherein the spiritual seed would soon flourish into a fruit, in the new soil placed in the vast gardens of the new Jerusalem. And the upbringing would have brought you much joy in the presence of your holy Father.

3. However, since you have established your marriage in the darkness of the world, to carry out the works of death and beget fruits of hell; your dear, pampered children – it will now be difficult to remove the poison from the offspring of the snake. And this cannot be achieved in any other way than through the complete mortification of the flesh, as well as the complete capture of the will, because the self-will of such children is utterly hellish and satanic, for there is not even a single spark of heavenly origin.

4. If you think I am saying too much here, I must retort: Examine your offspring, and you’ll find nothing else than self-love, envy, wrath, sloth and and aversion to everything serious and a secret and firm dislike of anything that is of Divine origin, which is why they can only be moved – either by punishments or worldly rewards – to learn a few scarce phrases from the severe catechisms.

5. And now that you have found all of this in your children, say and admit it openly, that I am only telling you this out of My great love for the salvation of your children and yourselves, by telling you that your children are true children of hell!

6. If you now wish to conceive new children of love out of your offspring, you must be blind towards a cute and smooth visage, and deaf towards all of their foolish desires. You must prematurely start to capture every spark of their evil self-will, so there can be made room for My love and for a new will springing forth from this love.

7. Everything that your children stubbornly desire, you must deny to them, even if it is of good origin, so that not their will, but your will becomes alive, through submissiveness and the just and wholesome obedience in their hearts.

8. Always punish self-will and indignation, laziness, aversion towards the Divine things, especially the secret disregard towards healthy admonitions as well as towards My name and everything related to it.

9. If they do and act properly, do not compliment them, and even less so reward your children! Tell them in a friendly yet serious manner that they have done a deed of the new will, by which the Father in heaven is already pleased. Yet if a child has done something out of their own impetus, during their time of relaxation for the body, which appears to be something good, ask them about their motive, down to the last detail, and what has driven them to do it. Once you have found out the reason for it, if it was self-love, or out of love for the duty, or out of love for you or out of love for Me, then always align your dissatisfaction or delight according to their motive.

10. However, be cautious with your caresses, like the winter with the warm days, so that the shoots of the fruit may not be destroyed by a following temptation, like the blossoms of the spring by a late rime. Let cold winds blow frequently, so that the pestilential air surrounding the young hearts may be cleansed, for the welfare of the spirit.

11. Teach the boys to obey blindly and let them recognize the origin of the commandment in My love, and punish their curiosity and an undisciplined addiction to gambling. Point them strictly towards rest.

12. But the girls keep at home, and do not let even the slightest unfitting desire awaken within them, whatever it may be. Never satisfy their ever so small desires in any way before you do not clearly know the most hidden source of it.

13. Keep them strictly away from gatherings with strange children, those who enjoy a worldly upbringing, otherwise a massive hail will follow, and not a single ear of the wheat will be spared.

14. As they grow older, your righteous austerity shall increase sevenfold.

15. It is better to hear your children cry over the grievance of their noxious vanity, than always rejoicing in their arrogant worldly pleasures, so that you may become as the angels in heaven, who rejoice when one of the world is weeping in repentance.

16. A wrathful girl shall fast seven times as long as her wrath has lasted, so that she may become as gentle as a dove.

17. Your love shall be concealed to them, like Mine to your eyes, so that the new and delicate fruit may not choke in the heat of an unseasonable fire. And in the measure in which the fruit shows itself, emerging from the new seeds of heaven, and as it becomes more and more solid, and the true and pure love for Me becomes more and more visible in their hearts, and out of that a faith full of deeds, in the same measure may your heart open itself in a wise love towards the spiritually reborn children.

18. Look, this is the way of life for your children! And that is the only one, and there is none other besides that, just like there exists no other God besides Me. Whoever chooses to walk upon it, will find blessings and recognize that it has its origin in Me. – But whoever will act according to the book of the world, will surely receive his reward from the lord of the world, in the mudhole of eternity. – Amen. I, God, the Holy of Holies, and Jesus, as Father. – Amen.

O amor parental correto e a educação dos filhos

1. Dê à esposa de Ans. H. as seguintes palavras! Pois reconheci o seu anseio e, por isso, quero dar-lhe um pequeno consolo, que ela deve ter em conta para si e para os seus filhos, meninas e meninos.

2. Eu me alegro com todos aqueles que se alegram comigo. E tenho água em grande quantidade para dar àqueles que têm sede. E a minha graça é tão ampla quanto longa, e em nenhum lugar se encontra uma parte mais estreita.

3. Por isso, mãe da carne, distribui o teu amor entre os teus, como Eu distribuo a graça – para que nenhum dos teus filhos fique com os olhos tortos por inveja secreta e não queira olhar bem para o seu irmão ou irmã! Tenha uma medida plena e igual de amor por cada um dos seus filhos – para que Eu também possa dar-lhes uma medida plena e igual de graça! Caso contrário, os mais amados receberão menos graça e os menos amados receberão mais graça de Mim.

4. Pois eis que Eu sou pai dos perseguidos, consolador dos aflitos – mas também juiz muito severo dos filhos que vós amais em demasia. Pois o excesso do vosso amor corrompe os vossos filhos e os torna incapazes de receber a Minha graça. – Portanto, daqui em diante, conceda a todos igualmente o que lhes é útil, necessário e benéfico, e domine o seu coração – e a Minha graça o acolherá no meio deles!

5. E acredita que sou Eu quem te diz isso, como vosso bom Pai. – O que tu vês vagamente, Eu vejo com nitidez. Mas aquilo para onde tu olhas com toda a nitidez, Eu vejo através dos dedos. O que o mundo julga, Eu aceito; mas o que o mundo exalta, será derrubado diante de Mim. – Vê a adúltera, julgada pelo mundo! Eu escrevi a sua culpa na areia, para que o vento a apagasse. – Assim também todos vós deveis fazer, se quereis ser Meus filhos legítimos, a quem Eu amo mais do que tu jamais poderás compreender.

6. Assim como o sol brilha e a chuva cai sobre toda a relva, assim seja o vosso amor para com os vossos filhos! – Mas para com os estranhos, que seja como um incêndio e como uma tempestade, para que nenhum amor próprio reine em vós e nos vossos filhos – através do qual a vossa confiança se torne forte e Eu possa e irei ajudar-vos sempre, onde fordes mais fracos.

7. Que isso seja um pequeno consolo para ti! – Onde Eu quero entrar, primeiro varro o chão! – Isso diz o vosso bom e santo Pai. – Amém.

Sobre a educação das crianças
Segunda-feira, 8 de junho de 1840

Ó Senhor, como devem ser educadas as crianças para que um dia possam ser chamadas de Teus filhos?

1. Bem, então escreve! – É uma pergunta bem colocada, à qual quero dar uma resposta definitiva. Mas vede, se vos dou uma luz correta sobre isto, que vos torneis pastores fiéis do vosso pequeno rebanho, que vos foi dado das profundezas, para que o levem à altura de toda a humildade e, assim, ao caminho de toda a vida, através do fogo resplandecente do Meu amor. Mas isso vos dará muito trabalho, e esse trabalho deve expiar a luxúria da vossa carne, que muitas vezes praticastes com as vossas mulheres, pelo que foi dado aos vossos filhos o manto da prostituta e um monumento na Jerusalém destruída e uma sepultura larga e profunda sob os escombros de Babel.

2. Pois, se tivessem renascido do Espírito do Meu amor, teriam podido purificar a virgem que desejavam como esposa nas correntes da água viva, que teria fluído em infinita abundância para o vosso ser. E assim o vosso casamento teria sido celestial, e os vossos filhos (gerados no desejo dos anjos, que é uma verdadeira união do amor com a sabedoria) seriam então filhos dos céus e já estariam meio renascidos, pois a semente do Espírito logo daria fruto na nova terra, que está plantada nos grandes jardins da nova Jerusalém. E a educação teria se tornado para vós uma grande alegria diante do vosso santo Pai.

3. Mas, uma vez que vocês se casaram nas trevas do mundo, para realizar as obras da morte e gerar frutos do inferno, que são os seus queridos e mimados filhos, é difícil tirar o veneno da ninhada das serpentes. E isso não pode acontecer de outra forma senão pela completa mortificação da carne e pela plena captura da vontade, porque a vontade própria de tais filhos é puramente infernal ou satânica, não havendo nela nem uma centelha que seja celestial.

4. Mas se acham que estou a exagerar, respondo: examinem a vossa prole e não encontrarão nada além de: amor próprio, inveja, ira, preguiça, aversão a tudo que é sério e uma repulsa secreta e decidida por tudo que é divino, razão pela qual só podem ser motivados por punições ou recompensas (mundanas) a aprender algumas frases escassas dos rígidos catecismos.

5. E agora, se vocês encontraram isso nos seus filhos, então digam e confessem abertamente que Eu lhes digo isso apenas por causa do Meu amor infinito pela salvação dos seus filhos e de vocês mesmos, que os seus filhos são verdadeiros filhos do inferno!

6. Se agora quereis gerar novos filhos do amor a partir da vossa prole, deveis ser cegos às caras bonitas e sedutoras e surdos a todos os seus desejos tolos, e deveis capturar precocemente cada centelha da sua má vontade, para que haja espaço para o Meu amor e para uma nova vontade a partir dele.

7. Tudo o que os filhos desejam obstinadamente, deveis negar-lhes, mesmo que seja bom, para que não seja a vontade deles, mas a vossa que se torne viva através da submissão e da obediência justa e salutar nos seus corações.

8. Castigai sempre a teimosia e a relutância, a preguiça, a aversão ao divino, mas principalmente o desprezo secreto no coração pelas admoestações salutares, bem como pelo Meu nome e tudo o que se refere a Ele.

9. Ao fazer o que é certo, não elogieis e muito menos recompensais as crianças! Digam-lhes com amabilidade e seriedade que realizaram uma obra da nova vontade, pela qual o Pai no céu já tem uma pequena alegria. E se uma criança, por iniciativa própria, em um momento livre de obrigações, como descanso do corpo, fez algo que parece ser bom, então perguntem-lhe detalhadamente o que a levou a isso. E quando tiverem descoberto a razão, se foi por amor próprio, por amor ao dever, por amor a vocês ou por amor a Mim, então julguem sempre o seu descontentamento ou satisfação de acordo com isso.

10. Mas sejam parcimoniosos com as vossas carícias, como o inverno é com os dias quentes, para que os rebentos frutíferos não sejam destruídos numa tentação posterior, tal como as flores da primavera por uma geada tardia. No entanto, deixem soprar frequentemente ventos frios, para que o ar pestilento em torno dos corações jovens seja purificado para o bem-estar do espírito.

11. Ensinem os meninos a obedecer cegamente e deixem-nos reconhecer a razão do mandamento no Meu amor. E castiguem a curiosidade deles e o excesso (descontrolado) de vício em jogos e repreendam-nos severamente para que se acalmem.

12. Mas mantenham as meninas em casa e não deixem que nem mesmo o mais leve desejo impróprio desperte nelas, seja ele qual for. E nunca cedam ao menor desejo, antes de terem esclarecido a sua origem mais secreta.

13. Protejam-nas cuidadosamente de encontros com crianças estranhas que desfrutam de uma educação mundana, caso contrário, vocês mesmos terão atraído pesadas nuvens de granizo. E nem um único grão de trigo será poupado.

14. Com a idade, a vossa justa severidade também deve avançar sete vezes mais.
