Die Zeichen der Zukunft

Lukas 21:25-26…
“Und es werden Zeichen geschehen an Sonne, Mond und Sternen; und auf Erden wird den Leuten bange sein, und sie werden zagen, und das Meer und die Wasserwogen werden brausen, und die Menschen werden verschmachten vor Furcht und vor Warten der Dinge, die auf Erden kommen sollen; denn auch der Himmel Kräfte werden sich bewegen.”

1. Dieses ist der erste Evangelientext, mit welchem gewöhnlich das Kirchenjahr seinen Anfang nimmt. Er wird alle Jahre den Gläubigen in der Kirche vorgelesen, alle Jahre erklärt – so oder so -, wie es dem Prediger gerade zu seinem Zweck paßt. Wenn auch mancher von Zeichen und Wundern spricht, so wissen doch wenige von ihnen, worin diese Zeichen bestehen und auf welche Art sie die künftige Zeit verkünden werden. Die meisten Prediger nehmen ihre Erklärungen für den Text aus dem politischen Staatenleben und wollen so Geistiges durch Weltliches erläutern. Das ist ein ebenso eitler Versuch, als wollte man die geistige Welt durch die materielle erklären, während das Umgekehrte geschehen sollte, sind doch die weltlichen Ereignisse eine Folge von geistigen Umwälzungen.

2. Seht, Meine Kinder, als Ich in jener Zeit von den Zeichen sprach und den Juden die Zerstörung ihres Tempels voraussagte, glaubten wenige von ihnen Meiner Aussage, weil sie Mich nicht kannten. Jetzt, da Ich euch das nämliche zurufe, gibt es ebenso viele Zweifler und Ungläubige, die die Zeichen von woandersher erwarten, als von wo sie wirklich kommen werden.

3. In jener Zeit sagte Ich den Untergang des Tempels von Jerusalem und das Aufhören des jüdischen Stammes als selbständiges Volk voraus. Ich sagte ihnen voraus, daß die Art und Weise, wie sie ihre Religionsgesetze beachten, gerade das Entgegengesetzte von dem sei, was Moses und die Propheten ihnen geben wollten, und daß dieser Art der Anschauung und werktätigen Ausübung ein Ende gemacht werden müßte, eben durch die eigentliche Auslegung, wegen der Ich gekommen bin und auch Mein Leben für diese Lehre gelassen habe.

4. Sie wollten sich nicht von dem längst als Glauben oder Religion Angewöhnten trennen. Für sie galt der Tempel zu Jerusalem als Repräsentant des geistigen Religionsgebäudes. Da es aber in diesem Tempel so heillos zuging, und die Religion so gepredigt und ausgeübt wurde, wie es den Interessen der Priester und Pharisäer angemessen war, mußte, sollte die Menschheit nicht im Sumpfwasser ihrer schlechtesten Leidenschaften verfaulen, dieser materielle Tempel fallen. Erst auf seinen Ruinen konnte ein anderer, geistiger, ewig dauernder Tempel erbaut werden, zu dem Ich während Meines Erdenlebens den Grundstein gelegt habe.

5. Schon von damals an, sowie nach Meinem Heimgang bis zu Meiner nächsten Wiederkunft fehlte und fehlt es nicht an Zeichen der Mahnung zur Umkehr; allein immer schien es nicht an der Zeit, den jetzigen Tempel – nämlich Rom und seine Wirtschaft – zu zerstören. Wenn auch vielen Menschen in besseren Augenblicken ein Lichtstrahl der Zukunft das Herz erleuchtete, – in Rom blieb es finster, und statt heller wurde es immer finsterer. (1871)

6. Was einst in Jerusalem geschah, wo die bewaffnete Macht der Römer lange Zeit die Religion der Juden und ihre Gebräuche achtete und sie gewähren ließ, das geschah auch bis auf den heutigen Tag, wo die Machthaber mit dem Schwert in der Hand dem Unfug in Rom, wenngleich sie ihn kannten, nicht steuern wollten, sondern ihn zu ihrem eigenen Interesse ausbeuteten. Allein, wie einst die Juden durch ihren Übermut und ihre Empörungssucht den Fall des Tempels und den Ruin ihrer eigenen Existenz herbeiführten, so wird auch jetzt das Gebäude des “Unfehlbaren” auf Petri Stuhl in Rom durch Übermut und Blindheit seiner eigenen Mithelfer fallen und wieder wie einst Meiner Lehre Platz machen müssen.

7. Was bei Meiner ersten Darniederkunft als Mensch geschah, wird sich wieder ereignen. Es werden Zeichen geschehen. Wohl denen, die sie verstehen und sie zu ihrem eigenen und dem Besten der Mitmenschen benutzen werden!

8. Das Vorausgesagte wird, im geistigen Sinn, mit ebendiesen Symptomen beginnen – und hat eigentlich schon längst seinen Anfang genommen -, wie einst während Meines irdischen Erdenwandels. Kriege und Empörungen, Verfolgungen Meiner Anhänger, ängstliches Bangen der Dinge wegen, die da kommen würden, Krankheiten aller Art, waren die Vorboten in jenen Zeiten; und auch jetzt werden sie nicht fehlen. Nicht aber, daß Ich sie schickte, sondern dieses Schicksal bereiten sich die Menschen nur selbst durch ihr Nichtverstehen Meiner göttlichen Worte, die stets die gleichen bleiben werden. Auch jetzt weht der Wind der geistigen Freiheit und durchdringt alle menschlichen Herzen. Die schon längst mit Füßen getretenen Menschenrechte wollen sich Geltung verschaffen, wollen geachtet und nicht, wie schon seit mehr als tausend Jahren, nur von einer Sekte oder Kaste – nämlich der stärkeren – mit Füßen getreten sein.

9. Man sagt auch: ,Der Wurm krümmt sich, wenn er getreten wird!` Nun, die geistlichen und weltlichen Machthaber haben den Wurm lange genug getreten, wollten sich denselben ganz untertänig und botmäßig machen und die menschliche Würde erst bei sich anfangen lassen. Zuviel schadet! Und so ist, nachdem sie den Bogen zu sehr gespannt haben, das Reißen nahe. Sie fühlen es wohl; daher ihre Angst, ihre Suche nach Mitteln, selbem zu steuern. Aber umsonst! Wie einst zu Jerusalem, so graben sich diese Machthaber selbst die Grube, in welche sie eigentlich andere hineinwerfen wollten.

10. Damals riet Ich Meinen wenigen Anhängern, mäßig zu sein, ihre Seelen und Körper rein zu halten und nicht zu schlechten Handlungen zu mißbrauchen, damit sie gereinigt vor dem Menschensohne stehen können, wenn Er kommen wird.

11. Und jetzt gilt derselbe Mahnruf: Wachet und betet, daß ihr nicht in Versuchung fallet! Haltet euch rein, stärkt euch mit dem Glauben an Meine Liebe und an Meine göttliche Fürsorge, die, wenn sie auch das Schrecklichste zuläßt, doch nie die strafen wird, welche Meiner Lehre mit kindlichem Gemüt angehangen und mit gläubigem Eifer danach tätig waren.

12. Die Zeichen der Zeit werden dann spurlos an euch vorübergehen, wenn ihr euern Körper auf wenige leibliche Bedürfnisse habt beschränken lernen, aber desto mehr auf das Aufbauen eures geistigen Seelenmenschen bedacht seid. Sodann werdet ihr wie einst in jenen Zeiten Meine Anhänger ein Halleluja ertönen lassen, auch über rauchenden Trümmern weltlichen Glanzes und über Schlachtfeldern, wo zwar die Materie erlegen, jedoch der Geist frei geworden ist, zum Zeichen Meiner Größe, Meiner Liebe und Erbarmung. Amen.

The Signs of the Future

Luke 21:25-26…
“And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.”

1. This is that text from the Gospels with which the ecclesiastical year usually commences. It is read to the believers at church every year, explained in one way or another, so as to best serve the preacher’s purpose. Even if many of them do speak of signs and miracles, only a few know what these signs actually consist in and in what way they will announce the time to come. Most preachers choose their explanations of this text from the political life thus endeavouring to explain what is spiritual with wordly examples. This is quite as futile an effort as if one would try to explain the spiritual world through the material, whereas it should be the other way round, since the happenings in the world are the result of spiritual upheavals.

2. Behold, My children, when in those times I spoke of signs and predicted to the Jews the destruction of their temple, only few of them believed My words because they did not know Me. Now, when I am telling you the same, there are quite as many doubters and non-believers expecting the signs from a different side than where they will acutally be coming from.

3. At that time I predicted the destruction of the temple of Jerusalem and the end of the Jewish people as an intependent nation. I told them that the way in which they were observing their religious laws was contrary to what Moses and the Prophets had wanted to give them, and that an end must be made to this conception and practice by means of the true interpretation for the sake of which I had come and sacrificed My life.

4. They did not want to relinquish what through habit had long since become their faith or religion. For them the temple in Jerusalem represented the spiritual edifice of religion. However, since things were so bad in that temple and religion was preached and practised to suit the interests of priests and Pharisees, this material temple had to be destroyed if mankind were not to rot in the muddy, stagnant water of their lowest passions. Another, spiritual, everlasting temple, for which I laid the foundation-stone during My life on earth, could only be built on the ruins of the former.

5. As from that time and since My ascension, signs have been given, and still are being given, until My Second Coming, admonishing people to convert, but it never seemed to be the right time to destroy the present temple, namely Rome and its establishment. Even if a ray of light heralding the future illumined the heart of many a person, in Rome it stayed dark and kept getting darker instead of lighter. (1871)

6. What once happened in Jerusalem, where the armed Roman power during a long time respected the religion and customs of the Jews and gave them a free hand, has happened also with Rome until this day. The mighty, with the sword in their hand, well aware of the nuisance in Rome, dit not want to make an end to it, but preferred to use it in their own interest. However, just as once the Jews brought about the destruction of the temple and their own downfall through their presumptious and rebellious attitude, the edifice of the infallible on Peter’s chair in Rome will collapse through the presumption and blindness of his own assistants and will have to make room for My teaching as once before.

7. What happened when I first came to the earth as a man will happen again. There will be signs – happy they who understand and heed them for their own benefit and that of their fellowmen!

8. Spiritually that which has been predicted will commence -and actually has already commenced – with exactly the same symptoms as once during My pilgrimage on earth. Wars and uprisings, the persecution of My followers, fear of the future and all kinds of diseases were the early signs then and shall not be absent today. Not that I am sending them, but men work their own destiny through non-comprehension of My divine words that shall remain unchanged forever. The wind of spiritual freedom is blowing also today, penetrating all human hearts. The human rights that have been disregarded for so long want to be respected and no longer trampled underfoot by just one class – the more powerful.

9. It says that even a worm will turn when trod upon. Well, the mighty of the church and the world have trod on the worm long enough, endeavouring to completely subjugate it und let human dignity begin only with them. But they went too far. This they feel and are now – in their fear of the consequences – looking for means to stop this development. But in vain! As once in Jerusalem, also these mighty of today will reap what they have sown.

10. At that time I advised My followers to be moderate in everything, to retain their souls and bodies pure and not to misuse them, so that they may stand purified before the Son of Man when He shall come.

11. The same admonition applies also today: “Watch and pray that ye enter not into temptation!” Keep yourselves pure, gain strength through your faith in My love and My divine care which, even if it allows the most terrible things to happen, will never punish those who have followed My teaching with childlike trust and practised it with faithful zeal.

12. The signs of the time will pass you by when you have learned to adapt your body to a minimum of physical needs, but instead are more concerned with the building up of your spiritual being. Then – as once My followers did – you will praise My greatness, love and mery even over smoking ruins of worldly splendour and battlefields, where matter has been defeated, but the spirit liberated. Amen.

Luca 21, 25-26: «E vi saranno segni nel Sole, nella Luna e nelle stelle; e sulla Terra angoscia di popoli in ansia per il fragore del mare e dei flutti, mentre gli uomini moriranno per la paura e per l’attesa di ciò che dovrà accadere sulla Terra, poiché anche le Potenze del Cielo si muoveranno.»

1. Q uesto è il primo testo dei Vangeli con il quale generalmente ha inizio l’anno ecclesiastico. Ogni anno è letto ad alta voce ai fedeli nelle chiese, ogni anno, spiegato – in un modo o nell’altro – come conviene al predicatore, ossia precisamente al suo scopo. Anche se più di uno parla di segni e di prodigi, pure pochi di loro sanno in che cosa consistono questi segni, e in qual modo essi annunceranno i tempi futuri. La maggioranza dei predicatori, per spiegare il testo, prende la sua interpretazione dalla vita politica degli stati, volendo in tal modo spiegare lo spirituale attraverso il materiale. Questo è un tentativo altrettanto vano, come si volesse esplicare il mondo spirituale attraverso quello materiale, mentre dovrebbe accadere il contrario, giacché gli avvenimenti materiali sono una conseguenza degli sconvolgimenti spirituali.

2. Vedete, figli Miei, quando Io a quei tempi parlai di segni e predissi agli ebrei la distruzione del loro tempio, ben pochi credettero alle Mie dichiarazioni, perché non Mi conoscevano. Adesso che Io vi annuncio la stessa cosa, ci sono altrettanti dubbiosi e increduli, i quali aspettano i segni da tutt’altra parte che da quella da dove essi realmente verranno.

3. In quel tempo predissi la distruzione del tempio di Gerusalemme e la fine della stirpe ebraica come popolo indipendente. Dissi loro che il modo in cui rispettavano le leggi della loro religione, era esattamente il contrario di ciò che Mosè e i profeti avevano indicato, e che si doveva porre una fine a quel modo di intendere le cose, proprio attraverso la spiegazione vera e propria, a causa dalla quale Io ero venuto, dando anche la Mia Vita per quest’Insegnamento.

4. Essi da un bel pezzo non volevano separarsi dall’abituale credenza, o religione. Per loro il tempio di Gerusalemme rappresentava l’unico edificio spirituale religioso. Ma poiché le cose in quel tempio procedevano in un modo così perverso, e la religione era predicata e praticata così come corrispondeva agli interessi dei sacerdoti e dei farisei, esso dovette crollare, affinché l’umanità non marcisse nel pantano delle sue peggiori passioni. Soltanto sulle sue rovine poteva essere edificato un altro tempio spirituale, in eterno permanente, per il quale Io posi le fondamenta durante la Mia vita terrena.

5. Già da allora, come anche dopo la Mia dipartita, e fino al Mio prossimo ritorno, non sono mancati e non mancano i segni che ammoniscono di cambiare; soltanto che non sembrava fosse ancora giunto il tempo di distruggere il tempio attuale – vale a dire Roma e il suo commercio. Anche se un raggio di Luce del futuro illuminò il cuore di molti uomini nei momenti migliori, a Roma restò l’oscurità, e in essa, invece di rischiararsi, si fece sempre più buio.

6. Ciò che accadde allora a Gerusalemme, dove la potenza armata dei Romani rispettò per lungo tempo la religione degli ebrei e i loro costumi, lasciandoli in pace, si è verificato fino al giorno d’oggi, in cui i potenti, con la spada in mano e pur conoscendo gli eccessi di Roma, non vollero porvi rimedio, bensì la sfruttarono per i loro stessi interessi. Ma come una volta gli ebrei con la loro tracotanza e il loro spirito di ribellione, provocarono la caduta del tempio e la rovina della propria esistenza, così ugualmente nel tempo presente, anche l’edificio dell’infallibile seggio di Pietro a Roma cadrà per la tracotanza e la cecità dei suoi complici e, nuovamente, come una volta, si dovrà far posto alla Mia Dottrina.

7. Ciò che accadde alla Mia prima venuta quale Uomo, accadrà nuovamente. Si manifesteranno dei segni. Beati quelli che li comprenderanno e li sapranno utilizzare per il meglio di se stessi e del loro prossimo!

8. Quanto predetto, nel senso spirituale, comincerà proprio con questi precisi sintomi – e già da qualche tempo ha preso effettivamente il suo inizio – come un giorno, durante il Mio pellegrinaggio terreno. Guerre e insurrezioni, persecuzioni dei Miei seguaci, angoscioso timore a causa delle cose che verranno, malattie d’ogni genere furono i segni precursori di quei tempi, e anche adesso, essi non mancheranno. Non però che sia Io a mandarli, bensì questa sorte se la preparano gli uomini da soli, con la loro non comprensione delle Mie divine Parole, le quali rimarranno sempre le stesse. – Anche adesso soffia il vento della libertà spirituale, e compenetra i cuori di tutti gli uomini. I diritti dell’uomo, calpestati già da tanto tempo, vogliono essere rivendicati, rispettati, e non come già da più di mille anni, calpestati con i piedi solo da una setta o da una casta, vale a dire dal più forte.

9. Si dice anche: “Il verme si contorce quando è calpestato!”. Ebbene, i potenti ecclesiastici e laici hanno abbastanza a lungo calpestato il verme, volendo assoggettarlo e sottometterlo completamente, e volendo che la dignità umana iniziasse soltanto da loro. Il troppo storpia! E così è: poiché hanno teso troppo l’arco, imminente è la rottura! Essi lo sentono; perciò la loro paura, cui cercano con ogni mezzo di porre rimedio. Inutilmente però! Come un giorno a Gerusalemme, così questi potenti si scavano da loro stessi la fossa, nella quale volevano invece gettar dentro gli altri.

10. In quel tempo Io consigliai ai Miei pochi seguaci di essere morigerati, di mantener pura la loro anima e puro il corpo, e di non contaminarli con azioni cattive, in modo che potessero stare purificati dinanzi al Figlio dell’Uomo, quando Egli sarebbe venuto.

11. E ora vale lo stesso monito: “Vegliate e pregate, affinché non cadiate in tentazione! Mantenetevi puri, rafforzatevi con la fede nel Mio Amore e nella Mia Provvidenza divina, la quale, anche se permette le cose più terribili, non punirà mai coloro che con sentimento filiale hanno seguito la Mia Dottrina, e con fervore pieno di fede vi hanno conformato le loro opere!”.

12. Allora i segni dei tempi passeranno su di voi senza lasciar traccia, se avrete imparato a limitare il vostro corpo a poche necessità e, tanto più, se tenderete ad innalzare il vostro uomo animico spirituale. Allora, come i Miei seguaci in quel tempo, potrete intonare un alleluia anche sulle fumanti rovine dello splendore del mondo e sui campi di battaglia, dove certamente versa la materia, ma sorge a libertà lo Spirito, come segno della Mia Grandezza, del Mio Amore e della Mia Misericordia. Amen!

“那裡必有陽光的跡象，在月亮和星星中;並在各國的地球上困擾著困惑;大海和海浪咆哮著;因為恐懼而不顧他們的人，因為要照顧那些到達地上來的人，因為天上的能力必被震動。“

1.這是福音書中與教會年通常開始的文本。它每年都會在教會讀給讀者，用這樣或那樣的方式解釋，以便最好地服務於牧師的目的。即使他們中的許多人確實會說出跡象和奇蹟，但只有少數人知道這些跡象的實際內容以及他們將以何種方式宣佈時間。大多數傳教士從政治生活中選擇他們對這些文本的解釋，從而力圖用純粹的例子來解釋什麼是精神。這是徒勞無功的，就像人們試圖通過材料解釋精神世界一樣，然而它應該是相反的，因為世界發生的事情是精神動蕩的結果。

它說，即使是一隻蠕蟲，也會隨著時間的推移而轉向。那麼，教會和世界的威力就足夠長時間地踐踏著這個蠕蟲，努力完全征服它，並且讓人的尊嚴只與他們一起開始。但他們走得太遠了。他們現在感覺到並正在 – 害怕後果 – 尋找阻止這種發展的手段。但是徒勞！就像曾經在耶路撒冷一樣，今天這些強大的人也會收穫他們播下的東西。

10.當時我建議我的追隨者在一切事情上保持溫和，保持他們的靈魂和身體純潔，不要誤用他們，這樣他們就可以在人子降臨之前在祂來的時候潔淨。

11.今天同樣的訓誡也適用於：“觀察並祈禱你們不要進入試探！”保守自己的純潔，通過對我的愛和我神聖的關懷獲得力量，即使它允許最可怕的事情發生，永遠不會懲罰那些用純真的信任跟隨我的教訓並以忠誠的熱誠實踐的人。

12.當你已經學會適應你的身體達到最少的生理需求時，時間的標誌會通過你，但是更多的是關心你的靈性存在的建立。然後 – 就像我的追隨者所做的那樣 – 你會讚美我的偉大，愛情，甚至是過度抽煙的世界輝煌和戰場的廢墟，在那裡物質已經被打敗，但被釋放的精神。阿門。
