Jesus sagt… Nutzt eure Zeit auf Erden richtig!

Kurz nur ist das Erdenleben, endlos lang aber die Zeit nachher. Darum solltet ihr Menschen diese Erdenzeit gut nützen, ihr solltet alles Schwere auf euch nehmen und alle Kraft verwerten für das Heil der Seele. Ihr solltet verzichten auf die Annehmlichkeiten des Lebens, um euch durch den Verzicht das Anrecht auf geistige Güter zu sichern, die euer Los bestimmen in der Ewigkeit, nach dem Tode eures Leibes, der allein nur von irdischen Gütern einen Vorteil hat, sie aber nicht behalten darf für immer.

Es ist das Erdenleben nur wie ein Augenblick, gemessen an der Ewigkeit, und diesen Augenblick solltet ihr nicht so wichtig nehmen und doch wieder als überaus wichtig für eure Seele erachten, ihn also immer nur geistig auszuwerten suchen. Wohl habt ihr für eure Erdenzeit einen Zeitbegriff, der euch die Tage und Jahre lang erscheinen lässet. Bedenket aber, daß endlose Zeiten schon diesem Erdenleben vorangegangen sind und die Ewigkeit folget.

Euch ist jedoch nur die Erdenlebenszeit bewußt, und diese bedeutet euch daher alles. Doch das wisset ihr, daß ihr sterben müsset dem Leibe nach, ihr wisset, daß alles Irdische vergänglich ist, ihr wisset, daß nichts euch nach eurem Tode nützen kann, was dem Körper unentbehrlich war, was ihm Wohlbehagen schaffte. Also rechnet vorerst damit, und sorget euch, was euch nach dem Tode des Leibes erwartet.

Ein überaus herrliches Dasein könnet ihr eurer Seele im Erdenleben bereiten, aber auch einen Zustand der Qual und Finsternis. Und immer wieder wird es euch gesagt, daß ihr weiterlebet. Ihr seid darüber nicht ohne Wissen, auch wenn ihr es nicht glauben wollet. So rechnet doch mit der Möglichkeit und sorget vor. Lebet gut auf Erden, und hängt nicht das Herz an die Materie, die euch doch wieder genommen wird.

Bedenket nicht den Körper auf Kosten eurer Seele. Sorget zuerst für diese, und es wird auch der Körper dann nicht zu darben brauchen, aber lasset eure Gedanken nicht verkehrte Wege gehen, daß ihr des Körpers wegen die Seele darben lasset. Denn sie ist euer eigentliches Ich, das Ich, das unvergänglich ist und das dereinst selig sein kann, wenn ihr auf Erden für diese Seligkeit schaffet und wirket.

Die schönsten Stunden auf Erden vergehen wie ein Rausch, die irdischen Genüsse beglücken euch nicht ewig, das Erdenleben geht schnell vorüber, aber dem Los in der Ewigkeit entgehet ihr nicht, und das wird sein entsprechend dem Leben, das ihr auf Erden geführt habt… ewiges Leben oder geistiger Tod. Ihr allein wählet euch den Zustand in der Ewigkeit, denn es ist euch freigestellt, welches Leben ihr auf Erden führet. Bewertet dieses euer Erdenleben richtig, daß es eurer Seele die Reife eintrage, nicht aber nur für das Wohlbehagen des Körpers genutzet wird. Denn kurz nur weilet ihr auf dieser Erde, endlos lang aber ist die Ewigkeit… Amen.

Short is the life on this earth, but the time thereafter is eternal. That is why you must make good use of the time on this earth; you must take upon yourselves all the weight and utilize all power for the salvation of the soul. You must renounce the comforts of life to secure your right to spiritual possessions, which will determine your fate in eternity, after the death of your body, that which alone benefits from earthly possessions, but is not allowed to keep them forever.

Earthly life is but a moment compared to eternity, and you must not assign such great importance to it; yet you must nonetheless consider it of great importance for your soul, and so you should only ever seek to make spiritual use of it. You certainly have a concept of time for your time on this earth, which makes the days and years appear long to you. But consider that endless times have already preceded this earthly life, and that eternity will follow.

However, you are only aware of the time of earthly life, and it therefore means everything to you. But you know that you must die in body; you know that everything earthly is transient; you know that nothing that was indispensable for the body will be of use to you after your death, all that made you comfortable. So reckon with this for the time being and worry about what awaits you after the death of the body.

You may prepare an exceedingly glorious existence for your soul in earthly life, but also a state of torment and darkness. And time and again you will be told that you will live on. You are not without knowledge of this, even if you do not want to believe it. So nevertheless reckon with the possibility and make provisions. Live well on earth and do not attach your heart to matter, which will be taken from you in time.

Do not consider the body at the expense of your soul. Take care of it first, and then the body will not need to live in want either, but do not let your thoughts go astray, so you would allow the soul to live in want, for the sake of the body. For it is your true self, the self that is immortal, the self that may attain bliss one day if you work towards it here on earth.

The most beautiful hours on earth will pass like a rush, earthly pleasures will not make you happy forever, earthly life will pass quickly, but you will not escape your fate in eternity, and this will correspond to the life you lived on earth…. eternal life or spiritual death. You alone choose your state in eternity, for it is up to you which life you lead on earth. Evaluate your earthly life correctly so that it brings maturity to your soul, but is not only used for the comfort of the body. For your stay on this earth is but a mere blip, but infinitely long is eternity… Amen.

ชีวิตบนโลกนี้สั้นนัก
แต่เวลาหลังจากนั้นเป็น
นิรันดร์ นั่นคือเหตุผล
ที่เจ้าต้องใช้เวลาในโลกนี้
ให้เกิดประโยชน์ เจ้าต้อง
แบกน้ำหนักทั้งหมด และใช้
พลังทุกอย่าง เพื่อความรอด
ของวิญญาณ เจ้าต้องสละ
ความสะดวกสบายแห่งชีวิต
เพื่อรับสิทธิในทรัพย์สมบัติ
ฝ่ายวิญญาณ ซึ่งจะเป็นตัว
กำหนดชะตากรรมของเจ้า
ในนิรันดร์ หลังจากความตาย
ของร่างกาย ซึ่งเพียงร่างกาย
เท่านั้นที่ได้รับประโยชน์ จาก
ทรัพย์สมบัติทางโลก แต่ไม่ได้
รับอนุญาตให้เก็บมันไว้ตลอดไป

**ชีวิตทางโลกเป็นเพียง
ขณะเดียวเมื่อเทียบกับนิรันดร์
และเจ้าไม่ควรให้ความสำคัญ
แก่สิ่งนี้มากเกินไป แต่เจ้า
ก็ยังต้องถือว่าสำคัญยิ่ง เพื่อ
วิญญาณของเจ้า ดังนั้นเจ้า
ควรแสวงหา การใช้ชีวิตนี้
เพื่อประโยชน์ฝ่ายวิญญาณ
เสมอ เจ้าอาจมีความเข้าใจ
ในเวลา ที่ทำให้วันและปีใน
โลกนี้ดูเหมือนยาวนาน แต่จง
พิจารณาเถิด ว่าเวลาไม่สิ้นสุด
ได้ผ่านมาก่อนชีวิตนี้แล้ว และ
ว่านิรันดร์กำลังรออยู่เบื้องหน้า

อย่างไรก็ตาม เจ้ารับรู้เพียง
เวลาแห่งชีวิตโลกนี้ และมัน
จึงมีความหมายกับเจ้าทุกสิ่ง
แต่เจ้ารู้ว่าเจ้าต้องตายในกาย
เจ้ารู้ว่าทุกสิ่งทางโลกเป็นสิ่ง
ชั่วคราว เจ้ารู้ว่าไม่มีสิ่งใด
ที่เคยจำเป็นสำหรับร่างกาย
จะมีประโยชน์แก่เจ้าหลังความ
ตาย สิ่งทั้งปวงที่เคยให้ความ
สะดวกสบายแก่เจ้า จะไม่
ตามไป ดังนั้นจงคำนวณสิ่งนี้
ไว้ก่อน และห่วงสิ่งที่รอเจ้าอยู่
หลังความตายของร่างกาย

เจ้าสามารถเตรียมชีวิตอัน
รุ่งโรจน์อย่างยิ่ง ไว้สำหรับ
วิญญาณของเจ้าในโลกนี้
หรือในทางตรงข้าม เตรียม
สภาพแห่งความทรมานและ
ความมืดมิดก็ได้ และเจ้าได้
รับการบอกอยู่เสมอ ว่าเจ้า
จะยังคงมีชีวิตต่อไป เจ้าไม่ได้
ไร้ความรู้ในเรื่องนี้ แม้เจ้าจะ
ไม่อยากเชื่อก็ตาม ดังนั้น
ถึงอย่างไรก็ควรนับรวมความ
เป็นไปได้นี้ และจัดเตรียมไว้
จงดำเนินชีวิตในโลกอย่างดี
และอย่าผูกหัวใจไว้กับสสาร
ซึ่งในที่สุดแล้ว จะถูกพรากไป
จากเจ้า

อย่าคิดถึงร่างกาย จนทำให้
วิญญาณของเจ้าต้องเสียหาย
จงดูแลวิญญาณก่อน แล้ว
ร่างกายก็จะไม่ต้องขัดสนเช่นกัน
แต่อย่าปล่อยให้ความคิดเจ้า
พเนจรไป จนปล่อยให้วิญญาณ
ต้องขัดสนเพียงเพื่อสนอง
ร่างกายเพราะวิญญาณนั้น
คือความเป็นตัวจริงของเจ้า
คือสิ่งที่เป็นอมตะ และอาจ
บรรลุความสุขสมบูรณ์สักวัน
หากเจ้าทำงานเพื่อสิ่งนั้น
ขณะอยู่บนโลกนี้

ชั่วโมงที่งดงามที่สุดบนโลก
จะผ่านไปอย่างรวดเร็ว
ความเพลิดเพลินทางโลก
จะไม่ทำให้เจ้ามีความสุข
ตลอดไป ชีวิตทางโลกจะ
ผ่านไปอย่างรวดเร็ว แต่เจ้า
จะไม่อาจหลีกหนี ชะตากรรม
ในนิรันดร์ได้ และชะตากรรม
นั้นจะสอดคล้องกับชีวิต
ที่เจ้าได้ดำเนินบนโลก…
ชีวิตนิรันดร์หรือความตาย
ฝ่ายวิญญาณมีเพียงเจ้า
เท่านั้น ที่เลือกสภาพของตน
ในนิรันดร์เพราะมันขึ้นอยู่
กับเจ้าว่าจะดำเนินชีวิตใด
บนโลกนี้ จงประเมินชีวิต
โลกของเจ้าให้ถูกต้อง เพื่อ
มันจะนำวุฒิภาวะมาสู่วิญญาณ
ของเจ้า แต่ไม่ใช่ใช้มันเพื่อ
ความสบายของกายเท่านั้น
เพราะการพำนักของเจ้าในโลกนี้
เป็นเพียงชั่วขณะสั้น ๆแต่นิรันดร์
นั้นยาวนานหาที่สุดมิได้…
