Psalm 51… As Prayer for the World – Psalm of Repentance & Healing Prayer Lord, I pray this psalm for myself, for my family and relatives and for the whole world. Please Lord, hear my cry for us, the people of this earth… 1 Have mercy on me/us, O God, according to Your kindness; according to Your great compassion, blot out my/our transgressions. 2 Wash me/us completely from my/our guilt and cleanse me/us from my/our sin. 3 For I/we know our transgressions, and my/our sin is always before me/us. 4 Against You, You alone, have I/we sinned and done what is evil in Your eyes; that You might be proven right in Your words. Be clear when you judge. 5 See, I/we was/were brought forth in wickedness, and in sin our mother conceived me/us. 6 See, You have desired truth in the inward parts; and in the hidden part You make me/us know wisdom. 7 Cleanse me/us with hyssop, and I/we will be clean; wash me/us, and I/we will be whiter than snow. 8 Let me/us hear joy and gladness; let the bones You have crushed rejoice. 9 Hide Your face from my/our sins and blot out all my/our wickedness. 10 Create in me/us a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me/us. 11 Do not cast me/us from Your presence and do not take Your Holy Spirit from me/us. 12 Restore to me/us the joy of Your deliverance and uphold me/us, Noble Spirit. 13 Let me/us teach transgressors Your ways, so that sinners turn back to You. 14 Deliver me/us from the blood-guilt, O God, God of my/our deliverance, let my/our tongue sing aloud of Your righteousness. 15 O God, open my/our lips, and that my/our mouth declare Your praise. 16 For You do not desire slaughtering, or I/we would give it. You do not delight in burnt offering. 17 The slaughterings of God are a broken spirit; a heart broken and crushed, o God, these you do not despise… 18 Do good in Your good pleasure to Zion. Build the walls of Jerusalem. 19 Then You would delight in slaughterings of righteousness… Amen The Healing Prayer of the first Apostles – The Prayer of the Heart… Jesus may help you! Jesus may heal you! Jesus may protect you! – Jesus, You eternal helper of all the afflicted, Jesus, You are the only physician for all diseases, Jesus, You are the eternal King of all power and might, Jesus, You are the eternal love and mercy, help this or that sick person, who suffers! – Your holy Will be done! Amen. Our loving Father who lives in Heaven, Your name be sanctified always and forever. Your Kingdom of Life, Light and Truth come to us and stay with us. Your sole holy and righteous Will be done on this Earth among us people also, as it is done in Your Heavens among Your perfected angels. But on this Earth, give us our daily bread. Forgive us our sins and weaknesses, as we will always forgive those who sinned against us. Let no temptations come over us that we cannot resist, and free us in this way from all evil in which man can fall as a result of too strong enticements of this world and its evil spirit. For to You, o Father in Heaven, belongs all might, all power, all strength and all glory which fills all Heavens from eternity to eternity! Amen (This prayer of the heart has the capacity to be at work even over a distance, by stretching out the hands towards that place with a blessing, where the sick person is located.) The Lord’s Peace be with you! |
