Wahre Gerechtigkeit (Mt.05,20): “Ich sage euch: Es sei denn eure Gerechtigkeit besser als die der Schriftgelehrten und Pharis„er, so werdet ihr nicht in das Himmelreich kommen!”

01. Hier in diesem Kapitel liegt vor euch Meine ganze Lehre als Inbegriff alles dessen, was den Menschen betrifft. Es wird euch gezeigt, inwiefern seine Leiden, seine Aufopferungen und Kämpfe einst einen geistigen Wert haben werden, und wie er sein Gewissen als die Waagschale und die Richtschnur zu allen Gedanken, Worten und Taten gebrauchen soll, wenn er einst Mein Kind genannt werden möchte.

02. Diese Bergpredigt war die gewaltigste Predigt, welche Ich während Meines Erdenwandels gehalten habe, und eben deswegen umfaßt sie alles, was Mich bewog, zu euch auf diese finstere Erde herabzusteigen und die größte Schmach zu erdulden – zu Meinem und Meiner Lehre größtem Triumph.

03. In dieser Predigt stellte Ich Meinen Zuhörern und Jüngern alle Seligkeiten in hoffnungsvolle Aussicht, welche denen zuteil werden sollen, die Meine Liebesgebote halten und ihretwegen Unbilden und Leiden ertragen. Ich stellte ihnen aber auch die Wichtigkeit ihrer Mission in bildlichen Ausdrücken dar, daß Ich Meine Lehre nicht vergebens predigen will, sondern daß jeder, der sie hört, sie auch anwenden und verbreiten soll. Es sind jene Verse, die vom Salz der Erde, von der Stadt auf dem Berg
und von dem angezündeten Licht handeln, damit es leuchte und nicht verborgen unter einem Scheffel brenne.

04. Ich sagte ihnen, sie seien das Salz der Erde, welches dem ätzenden oder anregenden Teile der geistig-seelischen Welt entspricht, da es zur Tätigkeit, zur Ausscheidung des Schlechten, zum materiellen Stoffwechsel notwendig ist.

05. Wo kein Salz oder Reizstoff ist, dort ist kein Leben, keine Bewegung, keine Wärme, kein Licht. Wo das Salz dumm wird – wie es im Evangelium heißt -, d.h. wo es verdirbt, da entstehen die umgekehrten Resultate, weshalb es ausgeschieden werden muß, damit es die Leute zertreten. Zu Staub und Sand zertreten, wird es anderen Schöpfungen auf anderer Basis zur weiteren Bildung behilflich sein, so wie das durch Menschen verübte Schlechte, ebenfalls durch Meine Fügungen am Ende zum Fortschritt, zur Besserung der geistigen Wesen beitragen muß, nur in anderer Form und unter anderen Umständen.

06. So ermahnte Ich das Volk und Meine Jünger, daß sie Mein Wort nicht bloß hören und für sich behalten, sondern daß sie es auch anderen mitteilen und es selbst in der Tat verwirklichen sollten. Ich sagte ihnen auch, daß Meine Lehre nicht neu sei, sondern daß sie nur die von Moses und den Propheten gegebenen Weisungen im wahren Licht darstelle, den Sinn der Worte erkläre und so der ganzen Menschheit zeige, wie alle diese göttlichen Vorhersagungen und Verordnungen der von Mir gesandten Männer stets denselben Zweck hatten, nämlich die Menschen ihren geistigen Wert erkennen zu lehren und sie alle auf dem kürzesten Weg vorzubereiten, ins große Geisterreich eintreten zu können, wie es Wesen geziemt, die einen göttlichen Funken von Mir im Herzen tragen. Ich versicherte allen, daß Meine Worte ewige Dauer haben, weil sie von dem ewigen, höchsten Wesen gegeben wurden.

07. Ich sagte ihnen auch, daß Ich jede Verunglimpfung dieser Meiner Gesetze bestrafen werde, hier und jenseits, weil Ich im voraus wußte, daß in späteren Zeiten Menschen Meine Gesetze der Liebe als Deckmantel benützen und, unter ihm ihren eigenen Interessen nachgehend, die Leidenschaften des Hasses und der Rache ungestört ausüben würden. Schon zu Meiner Zeit trieben die Pharisäer und Schriftgelehrten mit den Lehren Mosis und der Propheten das gleiche Spiel, weshalb Ich zu Meinen Jüngern und den um Mich versammelten Volk die Worte sprach: “Es sei denn eure Gerechtigkeit besser als die der Pharisäer und Schriftgelehrten, sonst werdet ihr nicht ins Himmelreich kommen!”

08. Obwohl nur dieser Vers für diesen Sonntag gegeben ist, mußte Ich die vorhergehenden Verse desselben Kapitels zuerst erklären, damit wir folgerichtig auf diesen zwanzigsten Vers kommen und von diesem aus weiterschreiten können.

09. Weil Ich die falsche und scheinheilige Gerechtigkeit jener Kaste anführte, der in jener Zeit die Macht und das Recht gegeben ward, den Sinn, den Kultus und die Dogmen ihrer Religion dem Volke beizubringen und zu erklären, und weil Ich wußte, auf welche Weise sie es vollführten – nicht in Meinem, sondern in ihrem Sinne und nach ihren Plänen -, so ward Ich natürlich gezwungen, dem Volk und Meinen Jüngern diese schon vorhandenen Gesetze besser zu erklären und ihr Gewissen empfindlicher zu machen. Auch deshalb mußte Ich es tun, weil in jener Zeit die Priester und Gelehrten die Gesetze so erklärten, daß es sie nicht viel Mühe kostete, diese zu erfüllen, und weil ihnen dadurch ein weiter Spielraum blieb, die scheußlichsten Taten zu begehen, ohne dem Scheine nach gegen die mosaischen Religionsgesetze zu verstoßen; ja den Anschein erwecken konnten, als übten sie diese im strengsten Sinne aus.

10. Daher folgen dem zwanzigsten Vers alle anderen wahren Liebesgesetze, welche in jener Zeit gerade als Gegensätze zu dem Geglaubten betrachtet wurden; denn Wiedervergeltung, Rache, Haß und Verfolgung waren durch einzelne Sprüche der Religion dem Anschein nach gerechtfertigt. Auch deshalb sah man sie als Gegensätze an, weil es weit leichter ist, den Durst der Rache und des Hasses zu kühlen, als dem zu verzeihen, der feindlich gesinnt ist, oder den mit Wohltaten zu überhäufen, der nur Böses im Schilde führt.

11. Eben deswegen ist diese Predigt, besonders vom zwanzigsten Vers an, die wichtigste genannt worden, weil in ihr das Symbol der Liebe, die Fahne der Nächstenliebe und die Verzeihung von Mir als einzige Richtschnur für den Lebensweg aufgestellt wurden, indem Ich allen zurief: “Nur unter dieser Fahne und mit dieser allumfassenden Liebe, mit welcher Ich als Gott und Schöpfer alle Meine Wesen umfasse, nur mit dieser Liebe könnt ihr Menschen Bürger eines geistigen Reiches, Bürger Meines Himmels werden!”

12. Ich führte in den nachfolgenden Versen verschiedene Lebensverhältnisse an, in welchen der Mensch diese Bruder und Nächstenliebe ausüben soll und kann. Ich zeigte, wie weit diese Liebe gehen soll und muß, wenn ihre Taten vor Mir einen geistigen Wert haben sollen. Ich setzte den Eckstein der Aufopferungsfähigkeit, an dem sich leider in jener Zeit und bis auf den heutigen Tag viele gestoßen haben.

13. Ich sagte Meinen Zuhörern: Wie Ich als Gott die Sonne über Gute und Böse aufgehen lasse, wie Ich die Felder der Schlechten wie der Guten mit segnendem Regen befeuchte, so sollen auch Meine wahren Nachfolger – erhaben über alle menschlichen Leidenschaften, Mein Beispiel als Schöpfer und auch als Jesus stets vor Augen habend allen mit gleicher Liebe helfen, unbekümmert darum, ob ihnen je Dank zuteil wird oder nicht.

14. Ich stellte in dieser Predigt das Ideal eines geistig erhabenen Menschen auf und bewies selbst durch Meinen Lebenswandel, daß man so leben kann, wenn man will. Der Inhalt dieser Predigt, seien es die versprochenen Seligkeiten für die Leidenden, Kämpfenden und geduldig Ausharrenden, als auch, wie weit sich die Nächstenliebe erstrecken soll, hat heute noch dieselbe Geltung wie einst und wird sie auch nie verlieren, solange Ich, Meine geistige und Meine materielle Welt bestehen. Denn nur durch diese Gesetze und ihre Befolgung werden die vernünftig lebenden Wesen geadelt und werden Zeugen ihres göttlichen Ursprungs, während sie auf dem entgegengesetzten, am meisten gebräuchlichen und leider auch jetzt noch von vielen als rechtlich bezeichneten Weg, statt zur geistigen Höhe aufwärtszusteigen, zur materiellen Tiefe herabsinken.

15. In den folgenden Kapiteln des Matthäus wird diese Lehre noch weiter dargelegt, damit sich niemand entschuldigen kann, als hätte er nicht gewußt, was Gottes und Nächstenliebe im eigentlichen Sinne sei. So findet ihr auch im 6. Kapitel das einzige Gebet, welches Ich die Meinen lehrte, und das ihr heute noch als Inbegriff aller Gebete ansehen könnt. Nur müßt ihr den tiefen, geistigen Sinn eines jeden darin enthaltenen Wortes fassen; denn wisset, etwas anderes ist es, wenn ihr mit euren eigenen Worten betet, oder wenn Ich euch Worte in den Mund lege, die ihr bei Bedrängnissen, ja wohl auch täglich an Mich richten sollt, damit Ich euch Meine hilfreiche Hand in den Wirrnissen eines jeden neuen Tages reiche, auf daß ihr nicht fallet, sondern Meine Bergpredigt stets im Sinn behaltet und als einzige Richtschnur auf dem Prüfungsweg dieses irdischen Lebens vor Augen habt, um der im Anfang unseres Kapitels verheißenen Seligkeiten teilhaftig zu werden.

16. Ja, Meine Kinder, auch an euch geht die gleiche Mahnung wie einst an jene, die Mir bei der Bergpredigt zuhörten, wo Ich sagte: “Wenn ihr nicht gerechter werdet als eure Pharisäer und Schriftgelehrten, so könnt ihr nicht ins Himmelreich kommen!” Auch euch sage Ich: Wenn ihr die Begriffe Gerechtigkeit, Liebe, Demut und Verzeihung nicht strenger nehmt, als sie euch von vielen gepredigt und falsch ausgelegt werden, so könnt ihr nicht in Mein Reich kommen und könnt nicht Meine Kinder werden; denn zu Meinen Kindern können nur die gezählt werden, die Meinem Beispiel folgend willig ihr Kreuz tragen, und die wie Ich, als Beispiel der Demut und Selbstverleugnung, alle weltlichen Genüsse weit hinter die geistigen zurücksetzen und bei Meinem Hauptgrundsatz verbleiben, der in dem Spruch aufgezeichnet ist: “Mein Reich ist nicht von dieser Welt!”

17. Meine Kinder dürfen keine Weltkinder sein. Sie müssen danach streben, die höchste moralische Höhe zu erreichen, die überhaupt der Mensch erreichen kann. Sie müssen, wie Ich, ihrer Leidenschaften Meister werden und vertrauensvoll hinnehmen, was Ich ihnen zu ihrem Besten schicke. Sie sollen nicht die Welt als eine Gefahr fliehen, sondern sie müssen inmitten derselben alle ihre Eigenheiten, Genüsse und Versuchungen, damit sie diesen nicht unterliegen, dem wahren Werte nach beurteilen. Sie müssen in Gedanken, Worten und Taten reinen Gewissens dastehen, damit andere nicht allein ihren Worten Glauben schenken, sondern auch in ihren Taten den wirklichen Beweis des Gesagten ersehen können. Sie müssen, wie es im Evangelium heißt, als eine Leuchte dastehen, die weit hinaus über alle Unebenheiten des menschlichen Lebens ihr ruhiges Licht ausströmen läßt, das Licht der Liebe, des Vertrauens und der Verzeihung.

18. So nur können sie, wenn sie selbst gerechter, liebender, vertrauender als viele andere verirrte Kinder sind, jenen zur Richtschnur und als Wegweiser dienen, und nur so können sie nach vollendetem Lebens und Prüfungslaufe Anspruch
darauf machen, von Mir an Kindesstatt angenommen zu werden und in Mein ewiges, großes Geisterreich, in Meine Himmel einzugehen, wo ihnen für alles Ausgestandene und Erlittene jene Seligkeiten zuteil werden, die beim Beginn Meiner Bergpredigt verheißen werden.

19. Dies nehmt euch zu Herzen! Lest oft diese Predigt, welche Ich vor mehr als tausend Jahren Meinen Jüngern und dem Volk gehalten habe! Sie enthält große Verheißungen und Forderungen an euch und an Meine Geisterwelt.
20. Wer diesen Bedingungen nicht nachkommen will, dessen Leben gleicht einem schön eingebundenen Buche, das aber nur weiße leere Blätter enthält.

21. Trachtet daher, euer Lebensbuch voll guter Gedanken, Worte und Taten ins andere Leben mitzubringen! Ich habe euch ja in diesen Versen gezeigt, wie die Gedanken schon ein Versündigen gegen Meine Liebesgesetze sein können; denn es mangelt oft nur an der Gelegenheit, sie auszuführen. Wäre solche vorhanden, so vollführte der Wille, was nur flüchtige Gedanken blieben.

22. Daher hütet euch zuerst vor sündigen Gedanken! Sie entwürdigen euren inneren Seelenmenschen. Flieht ferner die Gelegenheit, solche Gedanken in Ausführung zu bringen! Bekämpft die Gedanken, und ihr seid des Handelns eher mächtig! Gebt ihr aber den ersteren Raum, so seid ihr schon in das Reich der Sünde verstrickt und nur ein günstiger Augenblick, – und eure Seele ist durch eine unüberlegte Tat ihres ganzen Schmucks, der Reinheit, der Ruhe und der Zufriedenheit und ihrer schönen Vorsätze beraubt!

23. Daher lest diese Verse alle und sehr oft! Es wird euch so vieles darin gezeigt, worin ihr noch so schwach seid und so oft sündigt gegen euch und gegen Mich. Dadurch seid ihr noch weit davon entfernt, einen Anteil an Meinem geistigen Himmelreich zu haben.

24. Murrt nicht, wenn Ich euch durch Verhältnisse stets Gelegenheit gebe, euch in dem zu üben, was euch noch am meisten mangelt, nämlich das Vertrauen auf Mich und das stete Wachsein über die Regungen des eigenen Herzens, um alles Böse und Schlechte gleich im Keim zu ersticken!

25. So, stets sich übend, erstarkt eure Kraft; so werdet ihr fähig, aller Versuchungen zur rechten Zeit Herr zu werden; und so, Meiner Bergpredigt eingedenk, werdet ihr auch einst den Lohn Meiner Jünger erhalten, wenn eure Mission hier auf dieser Erde beendet und der Sieg errungen ist, um dann dort mit neuer Kraft größeren Anforderungen Genüge leisten zu können; denn wer hier weniges treu verwaltet, den werde Ich dort über vieles setzen!

26. Gedenkt eures Vaters, der euch nicht umsonst alle diese Worte sendet! Gedenkt, daß Er euch zu dem machen möchte, zu dem Er euch erschaffen hat, nämlich zu Seinen geistigen Kindern und damit zu jenen Wesen, welche einst in Seinem Reich über Welten und Millionen von Wesen das Licht der Liebe und der Gnade ihres ewig liebenden Vaters ausstreuen sollen! Daß zu solchen Missionen in allem Leid und Unglück erprobte, also gestählte Wesen gehören, versteht sich von selbst, weil sie, Gedanken und Tatenreinheit als Stempel auf ihrer Stirne tragend, durch die Erhabenheit ihres Geistes die andern emporziehen können.

27. Deswegen gab Ich euch diese ausführliche Auseinandersetzung Meiner Liebesgebote, damit ihr nicht den Einflüssen eurer Eigenliebe Raum gebt, um gerade das zu entschuldigen, was bei Mir vielleicht die größte Sünde ist, nämlich die Gedankenspiele, die der Same zu allerlei unreifen und bösen Taten sind. True Righteousness

Matthew 5:20…
“For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.”

Thus says the Lord:

1. This chapter presents to you My whole teaching, the essence of all that concerns man. It is pointed out to you how his suffering, his sacrifices and struggles will one day have a spiritual worth and how he is to use his conscience as guidance in weighing all his thoughts, words and actions if ever he wants to be called My child.

2. The Sermon on the Mount was the most powerful sermon ever delivered by Me during My pilgrimage on earth and thus it comprises everything that made Me descend to this dark earth and to suffer the greatest humiliation – resulting in My and My teaching’s greatest triumph.

3. In this sermon I held out hopes of great beatitudes to My listeners and disciples for all who keep My commandments of love and for their sake take upon themselves hardships and sufferings. I also illustrated to them the importance of their mission, that I do not wish to preach My teaching in vain, and that everyone who hears it should also apply and spread it. I refer to those verses that deal with the salt of the earth, the city on a hill and the lighted candle that should be allowed to shine and not burn hidden under a bushel.

4. I told them that they were the salt of the earth, which corresponds to the burning or stimulating part of the spiritual world of the soul, as it is needed for activating, for the elimination of the inferior, for the material metabolism.

5. Where there is no salt or stimulant, there is no life, no motion, no warmth, no light. And where the salt has lost its savour – as it says in the Gospel -, that is, where it has deteriorated, it achieves the opposite. Therefore, it must be cast out that people may tread on it. Trodden upon into the dust and sand it will help build other creations on another basis, just as the evil committed by men must in the end, through My providence, contribute to progress, to the betterment of the spiritual beings, only in another form and under different conditions.

6. Thus I admonished the people and My disciples not just to listen to My word and keep it to themselves, but also to pass it on to others and practise it in their actions. I also told them that My teaching was not new, but that it only presented in a true light the directions received from Moses and the Prophets. I explained the meaning of the words and showed all mankind how all these divine predictions and instructions by the men I had sent had always one and the same purpose, namely, to teach people to recognize their spiritual worth and to prepare them on the shortest way for their passing into the spiritual world, as befits beings with a divine spark from Me in their hearts. I assured all that My words were everlasting because they came from the Eternal, Supreme Being.

7. I also told them that I would punish any disparagement of these My laws, here and in the hereafter, because I knew beforehand that in times to come men would use My commandments of love as a cover for following their own interests and safely practising their passions of hate and revenge. The Pharisees and scribes did the same already during My time with the teachings of Moses and the Prophets. And that is why I said to My disciples and the people gathered around Me: “For I say unto you that except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven!”

8. Although it is only this verse that is given for this Sunday, I had to explain also the preceding ones of the same chapter which lead conclusively to the twentieth verse from which we can then proceed.

9. Referring to the deceitful and hypocritical righteousness of that class which during those times had been given the power and the right to teach and interpret to the people the meaning, cult and dogmata of their religion, and knowing in what way they performed this – not according to My wishes, but according to their own ideas and plans – it was, of course, up to Me to give the people and My disciples better interpretations of the existing laws and to render their conscience more sensitive. I had to do this also because in those times the priests and scribes interpreted the laws in such a way that they were not hard to fulfil and gave them plenty of scope for committing the most abominable acts without apparently offending against the divine laws of Moses, and even giving the impression of adhering to them strictly.

10. Therefore, the twentieth verse is followed by all the other true commandments of love which in those times were regarded as contrary to what was believed, for retaliation, revenge, hatred, persecution appeared justified through some religious texts. They were also considered as inconsistent because it is much easier to satisfy hatred’s thirst for revenge than to forgive an enemy or overwhelm with favours one who has evil intentions.

11. It is because of this that this particular sermon, especially from the twentieth verse onward, has been described as the more important, for in it the symbol of love, the standard of love for the fellowman, and of forgiveness, was laid down by Me as the sole guiding principle for life’s journey, when I called out to all: “Under this banner alone and with this all-embracing love with which I, as the God and Creator, hold all My created beings, only with this love can you humans become citizens of a spiritual realm, citizens of My heaven!”

12. In the subsequent verses I mentioned various circumstances in life where man shall and can practise this love of his brother and fellowman. I showed how far this love shall and must go if its acts are to be of any spiritual value before Me. I set the corner-stone for man’s readiness for sacrifice which, unfortunately, was a stumbling-block then and still is to this day.

13. I told My audience: Justs as I, as God, make the sun rise on the evil and on the good and send the blessed rain to moisten the fields of the unjust, as well as the just, thus also My true followers – superior to all human passions, with My example, as the Creator and as Jesus, always before their eyes – shall help everybody with equal love, unconcerned whether they are ever thanked for it or not.

14. In this sermon, I set up the ideal of a spiritually superior man and proved through My own way of life that it is possible to live like that, if desired. The contents of this sermon: The promised blessings for those who suffer, those who struggle and those who endure, and also how far the love of one’s fellowman has to extend, are still valid today and will remain so as long as I, My spiritual and My material worlds are in existence. For, only through these commandments and their observance, are intelligent living beings perfected and prove their divine origin. Whereas, if they pursue the opposite road, which is the more popular one, and also today, unfortunately, by many described as the righteous road, they will sink into the depths of matter instead of rising to spiritual heights.

15. In the subsequent chapters of Matthew, this teaching is still more elaborated on so that no one can excuse himself with not having known what the love of God and the love of one’s neighbour actually means. Thus you find in the sixth chapter the only prayer I taught My followers, which you can still today regard as the quintessence of all prayers. But you have to conceive the profound spiritual meaning of every one of its words; for you must realize that it is something quite different whether you pray with your own words or whether I put words into your mouth which you should direct to Me when in trouble, and in fact daily, so that I may give you My helping hand in the troubles of every new day, that you do not fall, but always keep in mind My Sermon on the Mount as the sole rule of conduct in the trials of your journey on earth in order to qualify for the beatitudes promised at the beginning of our chapter.

16. Yes, My children, this warning, concerns you, just as it did those who listened to Me when I delivered My Sermon on the Mount, when I said: “For I say unto you, that except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.” So I am telling you, too: If you do not take the concepts of righteousness, love, meekness and forgiveness more seriously than they are preached to you and wrongly interpreted by many, you cannot enter My Kingdom and become My children. For only those can be regarded as My children who follow My example and willingly carry their cross and who, as did I, to prove their meekness and self-abnegation, put all earthly pleasures far behind the spiritual and adopt My guiding principle which is expressed in the words: “My kingdom is not of this world!”

17. My children must not be children of the world! They must aspire after the highest moral standard that man can achieve. They must master their passions as I did and accept with faith what I send them for their good. They shall not flee the world as dangerous, but judge its ways, its pleasures and temptations by their true worth, so that they do not succumb to them. In thoughts, words and deeds, they must have a clear conscience, so that others may not only believe their words, but see them proved in their actions. They must, as described in the Gospel, shine like a lamp that pours forth its tranquil light far above the difficulties of human life, – the light of love, of trust and of forgiveness.

18. Only if they themselves are more righteous, loving and trusting than many other erring children, can they serve them as guides, and only this way can they, after they have completed the course of their life and trials, claim to be adopted by Me and enter My eternal, great spiritual kingdom, My heavens, where all the blessings mentioned at the beginning of My Sermon on the Mount, will fall to their lot to make up for their sufferings.

19. Take this to heart! Read this sermon often, which I delivered to My disciples and the people almost two thousand years ago! It holds great promises and demands for you and My spirit-world.

20. The life of a person who does not wish to fulfil these conditions is like a nicely bound book that contains only blank pages.

21. Therefore, endeavour to take your book of life with you to the other world filled with good thoughts, words and deeds. In these verses I have shown you how thoughts can already constitute an offence against My commandments of love; for often it is only through lack of opportunity that they are not caried out. If this opportunity were given, the will would carry out what would otherwise have remained but fleeting thoughts.

22. So, first of all, beware of sinful thoughts! They degrade your inner mental being. Further avoid the opportunity to realize them. Fight the thoughts and you have a good chance of controlling your actions. But once you give in to these thoughts, you are already enmeshed in the reign of sin, and it needs just a favourable moment and through an ill-advised action your soul is deprived of all that adorned it – its purity, its peace and tranquility and all its fine resolutions.

23. Therefore, do read all these verses, and do it often! They draw your attention to so much wherein you are still weak and where you often sin against yourselves and against Me. Due to this you are still far from having a share in My.spiritual kingdom.

24. Do not grumble if, through various circumstances, I keep giving you an opportunity to prove yourselves in that which is still your greatest shortcoming, namely, the trust in Me and the constant watch over the emotions of your heart, so that you may nip in the bud all that is evil and bad.

25. Thus, through continuous practice, your strength will keep growing; thus you will master the temptations as they arise; and thus, keeping in mind the Sermon on the Mount, you will one day, when your mission on earth is ended and victory won, receive the award of My disciples, so that in the beyond you will, with renewed strength, be ready for greater tasks; for the one who has been faithful over a few things, I will there make ruler over many things.

26. Remember your Father who does not send you these words in vain! Remember that He wants to make you into that for which He has created you, that is, His spiritual children, beings that one day in His Kingdom are destined to spread the light of their eternal loving Father’s love and grace over worlds and millions of beings. It is obvious that for such missions only beings who have been proven and steeled in suffering and hardships are suitable because only they, pure in thoughts and actions, can lift up others through the nobility of their spirit.

27. Therefore, I gave you this detailed explanation of My commandments of love that you may not give in to the influence of your self-love and excuse that which may be the greatest sin before Me – playing with thoughts that are the seed for many immature and evil actions. Amen.

Predica 31 – La vera giustizia

Quinta dopo Pentecoste
( XIIa del Tempo Ordinario)

Matteo: 5, 20: «“Io vi dico: sia, infatti, la vostra giustizia migliore di quella degli scribi e dei farisei, altrimenti non entrerete nel regno dei Cieli”.»

(Il 2 aprile 1872)

1. Qui questo capitolo sta davanti a voi tutta la Mia Dottrina, quale sostanza di tutto ciò che riguarda l’uomo. Vi è mostrato fino a che punto le sue sofferenze, i suoi sacrifici e le sue lotte avranno un giorno valore spirituale, e come egli deve utilizzare la propria coscienza – quale piatto della bilancia, e guida di tutti i pensieri, parole e opere – se vorrà un giorno essere chiamato figlio Mio.

2. Questa Predica del monte fu la più potente che Io tenni durante il Mio cammino terreno, e proprio per questa ragione essa include tutto ciò che Mi mosse a scendere da voi su questa tenebrosa Terra, e a subire la più grande ignominia per il più grande trionfo Mio e della Mia Dottrina

3. In questa predica Io esposi ai Miei ascoltatori e ai discepoli, la lieta prospettiva di tutte le beatitudini che toccheranno a coloro che osservano i Miei comandamenti d’Amore, e che a causa di questi, sopportano ingiurie e sofferenze. Esposi però anche l’importanza della loro missione in espressioni metaforiche, in quei versetti che trattano del sale della Terra, della città sul monte e della lampada accesa, affinché splenda e non arda nascosta sotto un moggio. Questo, perché Io non voglio predicare inutilmente la Mia Dottrina, bensì, che ognuno che l’ascolti, debba anche praticarla e diffonderla.

4. Io dissi loro che essi sarebbero stati il sale della Terra, il quale corrisponde alla parte corrosiva, o stimolante, del mondo animico-spirituale, poiché è necessario per l’attività di eliminazione della parte nociva, nel metabolismo materiale.

5. Dove non c’è sale, o sostanza irritante, lì non c’è vita, movimento, calore e luce. Come si dice nel Vangelo, dove il sale diventa insipido; in altre parole, dove è guasto, là sorgono risultati invertiti, e perciò esso deve essere rigettato, affinché la gente lo calpesti. Calpestato, divenuto polvere e sabbia, sarà d’aiuto in successive Creazioni su un’altra base, per una nuova trasformazione, così come il male commesso dagli uomini, attraverso i Miei decreti della provvidenza, dovrà alla fine contribuire al progresso, al miglioramento degli esseri spirituali, ma in una forma diversa, e sotto altre condizioni

6. Così Io esortai il popolo e i Miei discepoli, che non dovevano solo ascoltare e tenere per sé la Mia Parola, ma anche comunicarla ad altri e realizzarla loro stessi fattivamente. Affermai che la Mia Dottrina non era nuova, ma rappresentava, nella vera luce, le istruzioni date da Mosè e dai profeti, spiegava il senso delle parole e mostrava all’intera umanità, come tutte le predizioni e le disposizioni divine, date da Me agli inviati, avessero sempre lo stesso scopo, e in pratica quello di insegnare agli uomini a riconoscere il loro valore spirituale, e prepararsi alla via più breve per entrare nel grande Regno dello Spirito, com’è utile a degli esseri che portano nel cuore una Scintilla divina proveniente da Me. Io assicurai a tutti che le Mie parole sarebbero durate eternamente, perché date dall’eterno Essere supremo.

7. Dissi loro anche che avrei punito ogni denigrazione delle Mie leggi d’Amore, qui e nell’aldilà, poiché sapevo in anticipo che in tempi futuri gli uomini le avrebbero utilizzate come pretesto e, sotto di esso, perseguendo i propri interessi, avrebbero esercitato indisturbati le passioni dell’odio e della vendetta. Già ai Miei tempi, gli scribi e i farisei fecero altrettanto con gli insegnamenti di Mosè e dei profeti, per il cui motivo, ai Miei discepoli e al popolo radunato attorno a Me, Io pronunciai le parole: «Sia, infatti, la vostra giustizia migliore di quella degli scribi e dei farisei, altrimenti non entrerete nel Regno dei Cieli!».

8. E dunque, sebbene per questa domenica sia stato dato solamente questo versetto, Io ho dovuto dapprima spiegare i versetti precedenti dello stesso capitolo, per giungere logicamente al ventesimo versetto e, da questo, poter proseguire.

9. Poiché Io menzionai la falsa e ipocrita giustizia di quella casta, alla quale in quel tempo erano conferiti i poteri, nonché il diritto di promuovere e spiegare al popolo il senso, il culto e i dogmi della loro religione, e sapendo in qual modo essi esercitassero tale diritto – non nel Mio, bensì nel loro senso e secondo i loro piani – allora fui costretto naturalmente a spiegare meglio al popolo e ai Miei discepoli le leggi già esistenti, e rendere sensibile la loro coscienza. Lo dovetti fare anche perché, in quel tempo, i sacerdoti e i dottori della legge le spiegavano così che ad essi non costasse molta fatica adempierle, e con ciò restasse loro un ampio margine per commettere le più abominevoli azioni, all’apparenza senza contraddire le leggi della religione mosaica; anzi potevano destare l’impressione di praticarle in senso strettissimo.

10. Per questo al ventesimo versetto seguono tutte le altre vere leggi d’Amore, in quel tempo considerate contrarie a quanto si credeva, proprio perché rappresaglia, vendetta, odio e persecuzione erano, all’apparenza, giustificate da particolari espressioni della religione. Anche per questa ragione si consideravano come contraddizioni, perché è molto più facile calmare la sete di vendetta e di odio, che perdonare colui che è malintenzionato, come pure, colmare di benefici chi ha intenzione di fare solamente il male.

11. E proprio per tale motivo questa predica, in particolare dal ventesimo versetto in poi, è ritenuta la più importante, perché in essa fu da Me stabilito il simbolo dell’Amore, il vessillo dell’amore per il prossimo e il perdono da parte Mia, come unico filo conduttore per il cammino della vita, esclamando Io a tutti: “Solo sotto questo vessillo e con questo Amore tutto comprendente, con il quale Io, Dio e Creatore, abbracciai tutti i Miei esseri, solo con quest’Amore voi uomini potete divenire cittadini di un Regno spirituale, cittadini del Mio Cielo!”.

12. Nei versetti successivi Io esposi differenti situazioni della vita, nelle quali l’uomo deve e può esercitare quest’amore fraterno, e l’amore del prossimo. Mostrai quanto lontano può, e deve giungere quest’amore, affinché le sue opere abbiano davanti a Me un valore spirituale. Io posi la pietra angolare dell’abnegazione, nella quale purtroppo, in quel tempo e fino ai giorni nostri, sono inciampati molti.

13. Dissi ai Miei ascoltatori: come Io, quale Dio, faccio sorgere il Sole sui buoni e sui cattivi, e bagno con pioggia benefica i campi dei cattivi come quelli dei buoni, così anche i Miei veri seguaci – superiori a tutte le passioni umane, avendo sempre davanti agli occhi il Mio Esempio come Creatore, e anche come Gesù – devono aiutare tutti col medesimo amore, incuranti se riceveranno un ringraziamento oppure no!

14. In questa predica, Io presentai l’ideale di un uomo elevato spiritualmente, e dimostrai Io stesso, con l’esempio della Mia condotta di vita, che si può vivere così, se si vuole. Il contenuto di questa predica, siano le promesse beatitudini per i sofferenti, i combattenti e i pazienti perseveranti, come anche il modo in cui si deve estendere l’amore per il prossimo, ha la stessa validità ora come allora, e mai la perderà finché esisteremo Io, il Mio mondo spirituale e il Mio mondo materiale. Solo attraverso queste leggi e la loro osservanza, infatti, sono nobilitati gli esseri viventi ragionevoli, diventando testimoni della loro origine divina, mentre sulla via opposta, maggiormente in uso, e purtroppo ancora adesso indicata da molti come giusta, invece di salire alle altezze spirituali, essi si abbassano profondamente nella materia.

15. Nei seguenti capitoli di Matteo, questa dottrina è ulteriormente resa evidente, così che nessuno si possa scusare, come se non sapesse cosa sia l’amore per Dio e per il prossimo nel senso vero e proprio. Così nel sesto capitolo trovate anche l’unica preghiera che Io insegnai ai Miei, e che potete considerare ancor oggi come quintessenza di tutte le preghiere. Solamente, dovete afferrare il profondo senso spirituale di ogni singola parola in essa contenuta; poiché sapete: una cosa è quando voi pregate con le vostre parole, e un’altra, quando Io vi metto in bocca le parole che voi dovete rivolgere nelle afflizioni. Sissignore, anche giornalmente, a Me, affinché Io vi porga la Mia mano soccorritrice nelle confusioni di ogni nuovo giorno, così che non abbiate a cadere, ma abbiate sempre in mente – e davanti agli occhi – la Mia Predica del monte, come unica norma sulla via delle prove di questa vita terrena, per divenire partecipi delle beatitudini promesse all’inizio del nostro capitolo.

16. Sì, figli Miei, anche a voi sia rivolto lo stesso ammonimento, come allora, a quelli che Mi ascoltavano nella Predica del monte, dove Io dissi: «Se voi non sarete più giusti dei vostri scribi e dei farisei, non potrete entrare nel Regno dei Cieli!». Anche a voi Io dico: se non prenderete i concetti di giustizia, amore, umiltà e perdono, più seriamente di come molti vi predicano, e falsamente interpretano, voi non potrete venire nel Mio Regno e non potrete divenire figli Miei; potranno essere annoverati Miei figli, infatti, soltanto quelli che, seguendo il Mio esempio, portano volentieri la loro croce, e che come Me, quale esempio d’umiltà e abnegazione, mettono i piaceri mondani di molto indietro a quelli spirituali, e perseverano nella Mia regola principale che è riportata nella massima: «Il Mio Regno non è di questo mondo!».

17. I Miei figli non possono essere figli del mondo. Essi devono tendere a raggiungere la massima elevatezza morale che l’uomo può generalmente raggiungere. Essi devono, come Me, diventare maestri delle loro passioni, e accettare pieni di fiducia ciò che Io mando loro per il meglio. Non devono fuggire il mondo come un pericolo, bensì nel mezzo dello stesso, valutare tutte le sue caratteristiche, i piaceri e le tentazioni, secondo il loro vero valore, per non soccombere a questi. Devono avere la coscienza pura in pensieri, parole e opere, affinché gli altri non prestino fede soltanto alle loro parole, ma possano scorgere anche nelle loro opere, la vera e propria prova di quanto hanno detto. Essi devono, come si dice nel Vangelo, essere come una lampada, la quale sparge ampiamente la sua placida luce, la luce dell’amore, della fiducia e del perdono, oltre tutte le asprezze della vita umana.

18. Solamente così, se essi stessi saranno più giusti, più amabili, più fiduciosi di molti altri figli smarriti, potranno servire a costoro com’esempio e come segnavia, e solamente così, dopo il compimento del ciclo di vita e di prove, essere accolti da Me come figli ed entrare nel Mio eterno, grande Regno dello spirito, nel Mio Cielo, dove per tutto quanto hanno superato e sofferto, riceveranno quelle beatitudini promesse all’inizio della Mia Predica del Monte.

19. Prendetevi questo a cuore! Leggete spesso questa Predica che Io ho tenuto ai Miei discepoli e al popolo, quasi duemila anni fa! Essa racchiude grandi promesse e richieste, a voi e al Mio mondo dello spirito.

20. Chi non vuole adempiere queste condizioni, farà somigliare la sua vita a un bel libro rilegato, che però contiene solo vuoti fogli bianchi.

21. Aspirate quindi a portare con voi nell’altra vita, il vostro libro della vita pieno di buoni pensieri, parole e opere! Io vi ho mostrato, in questi versetti, come i pensieri possano essere già un peccato contro le Mie leggi d’Amore; spesso, infatti, manca solo l’occasione per metterli in atto. Se questa ci fosse, la volontà compirebbe ciò che altrimenti resterebbe solo in pensieri transitori.

22. Perciò guardatevi anzitutto dai pensieri peccaminosi! Essi degradano il vostro uomo animico interiore. Evitate inoltre l’occasione di portare in esecuzione tali pensieri! Opponetevi ai pensieri, e sarete maggiormente potenti nell’operare! Ma se darete spazio ai primi, sarete già coinvolti nel regno del peccato, e basterà solo un momento opportuno e, con un’azione avventata, la vostra anima sarà derubata del suo intero ornamento, della purezza, della quiete, della soddisfazione e dei suoi bei proponimenti!

23. Per questo, leggete tutti questi versetti, e molto spesso! In essi vi è mostrato, dove voi siete ancora deboli, e perché così spesso peccate contro voi stessi e contro di Me. Con ciò siete ancora lontani da avere una parte al Mio celeste Regno spirituale.

24. Non borbottate se Io, mediante certe circostanze, vi do sempre l’occasione di esercitarvi in ciò che vi manca ancora più di tutto, in altre parole la fiducia in Me e la costante vigilanza sui moti del vostro cuore, per soffocare tutto il male e il cattivo, subito, in embrione!

25. Così, esercitandovi di continuo, consoliderete la vostra forza; diventerete capaci di essere signori di tutte le tentazioni al tempo giusto. E, memori della Mia Predica sul monte, anche voi otterrete un giorno la ricompensa dei Miei discepoli, quando la vostra missione su questa Terra sarà terminata e la vittoria riportata, per poter poi, con nuova forza, soddisfare richieste maggiori, poiché chi amministra qui fedelmente il poco, costui Io lo metterò là sul molto.

26. Rammentatevi del Padre vostro, il Quale non v’invia inutilmente tutte queste parole! Rammentatevi: Egli vorrebbe far di voi ciò per cui vi ha creato, vale a dire, Suoi figli spirituali e, con ciò, quegli esseri che un giorno, nel Suo Regno, dovranno diffondere sui mondi e su milioni di esseri, la luce dell’Amore e della Grazia del loro eterno Padre amante! E che a tali missioni appartengano esseri provati, quindi temprati in ogni sofferenza e avversità, s’intende da sé, perché essi, portando sulla loro fronte l’impronta della purezza di pensieri e opere, con l’elevazione del loro spirito, possano attirare gli altri in alto.

27. Per questa ragione Io vi ho dato questa dettagliata spiegazione dei Miei comandamenti d’Amore, affinché voi non diate spazio agli influssi del vostro amor proprio, per giustificare proprio ciò che è forse davanti a Me il peccato più grave, vale a dire i giochi di pensieri, i quali sono il seme di ogni genere di intempestive e cattive azioni. – Amen!

主說：

1.本章向你們提出我的全部教訓，是所有關心人的本質。它告訴你，他的苦難，他的犧牲和掙扎有一天會有一種屬靈的價值，以及他如何用自己的良知作為指導，權衡他所有的想法，言行，如果他想被稱為我的孩子。
